*Beep Beep Beep* went my alarm clock on a cold winter school day. I was wishing and wishing for a snow day today but my mom kind of convinced me that it wasn't going to happen, we are in Missouri, so you never know what's going to happen with the weather here. I got out of bed, threw some clothes on and dashed down the steps to look out the window to see that there was a soft white blanket of snow covering the ground, there were already kids outside sledding.

I ran into the living room and saw my mom watching the news, at the bottom of the screen were the school closings. They were on the W's and my school district was called Afton, so it was coming up soon, but it felt like forever. I sat on the couch, with my eyes stuck on the screen, not moving away from the list of schools. After a while, it FINALLY got to the A's. I was dreading the thought of not seeing my school district, but, there it was Afton School District!!! I almost screamed. This was our first snow day of the year and I was so excited to do whatever I wanted that day!

"Hey why don't we go and get Starbucks?" my mom said suspiciously, like she had something to tell me.

"Yah that would be awesome!" I replied, and was anxious to hear what she wanted to tell me.

I went upstairs, put some makeup, and clean clothes on, and through on my uggs on. I ran back downstairs and me and my mom got in the car, we drove through the drive through at Starbucks. My mom pulled into a parking space and started telling me a story,

"Abby, I need to tell you something that I've kept from you for years. Before I married your dad, I was married to another man, and we had a son, and his name is Liam Payne, but me and him got divorced and I-"

"WHAT I AM RELATED TO LIAM PAYNE?" I interrupted her. "NO NO THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING YOU KNOW I HATE ONE DIRECTION!"

"Yes I know but there's not much I can do about it, this summer we are going to fly out to California and your brother, well, half brother!"

" *HUMPH* "
