Am I Dreaming? A Ross Lynch/R5 Fan Fiction

Chapter 1

ASHLEY'S POV

"Ashley, we are moving," my mom told me softly. "WHAT?!?!?!? How can we move? This is where I have lived for 16 years and you're telling me we are moving?" I screamed back at her. My mom started rubbing my back and said, "Since your dad got that new job, he is forced to work and live in Hollywood. We move in 2 days so I suggest you start packing."

I can't believe this. I have lived in this small town outside of Houston my whole life and have made the best friends in the whole world and now I'm going to have to leave them! I went outside to grab my softball glove and a tennis ball and started throwing the ball as hard as I could against that wall. I am so mad! I can't believe I am going to have to leave Paige. She is going to be heartbroken.

After 10 minutes of throwing the ball, I decided to go inside and do the thing that always calms me down... music. Whenever something bad happens I just sit down with my guitar and strum some random song. Today I chose If I Can't Be With You by R5. I probably didn't mention that I am a huge fan of R5. I have had a celebrity crush on Ross for about a year and through him, I found R5.

2 Days Later

I woke up to my alarm clock playing R5 at 6:30 in the morning. I don't like getting up this early during the summer. This is not fair. I dragged myself out of bed and went to my bathroom to brush out my hair. I changed into some comfy clothes and finished packing a few stray boxes. Then I heard my phone beep so I checked it out and it said:

Paige: I will be there in 5

Me: Ok I'll be waiting

I went downstairs, grabbed a poptart and sat on the front porch to wait for Paige. I went ahead and scrolled through my twitter feed and noticed @rossr5 posted, "Just sitting on the couch playing video games... need something to do..." Then as I saw Paige walk up, I realized something. Paige then said, "Hey Ash," but then I interrupted her and said, "OMG R5 lives in Hollywood what if I get to meet them!!!" Then I started doing a little happy dance to myself. I knew she probably didn't care since she isn't as obsessed as I am. Then Paige spoke up and said, "So is there anything I can help you pack?' I could tell she sounded sad. "No I finished packing everything before you got here." "When do you leave?' she asked. "Well our flight is at 10:15 so we need to be at the airport at 8:45 so we need to leave in 30 minutes." Then she grabbed me and pulled me into a hug. "I'm going to miss you Ash," she whispered in my ear. "I'm going to miss you too" I patted her back and pulled out of the hug.
