Lillie POV*

I sigh as I watch [Y/N] talking to Ash and Serena. I was been told to pair with [Y/N] by Professor Kukui a while back ago. "That is why I hate to tell Professor some things..." I mumble in annoy under my breath. Professor look at me and said "Well then Lillie, aren't you glad that I make you pair up with the one you like?" I glare at him and said "You do know that I only have one pokemon right? How am I supposed to battle in double battle? Plus I do not have any experience with battling!"

Professor give me those one of his 'I got an idea look'. I gulp. "That can be arrange. Hey [Y/N], could you and your friend come over here for a while?" I saw him calling towards [Y/N] and his friends. As I saw him walking here, I look away in embarrass.

Reader POV*

"Hey [Y/N], could you and your friend come over here for a while?" I heard professor calling out to me, Ash and Serena. You look at him and said "I wonder what he call us for." Ash shrug his shoulder as you guys went over.

"What is it professor?" Ash ask him. You notice Lillie has not be able to face you since the moment you guys went over. Wondering what wrong, you feel that Ash is touching your shoulder. "Hmm? What is it Ash?" You ask as you turn to face him. "Are you not listening to professor words for those couple of second?" Ash ask.

"He is too busy staring at someone since just now Ash." Serena tease as you blush slightly. "Sorry, what was he saying?" You ask in embarrass. Professor Kukui smile and said "Well it is good to be young right? Hahaha" You all look at him with a facepalm expression. He clear his voice and said "Like I was saying since we have a couple of hour before we start the Tag battle, I want you all help Lillie to get some pokemon added to her team and teach her how to battle."

"Lillie could not battle and she only have one Pokemon? Well...that something new." You said with a surprise expression. Both Ash and Serena stare at you like you are some kind of idiot. "What?" You ask. "Are you really born to be dumb and stupid?" Ash ask you while somehow you could swear he is judging you.

You raise your eyebrow and ask what they mean. Serena sigh and said "Well firstly if she would have a pokemon, she would not be chase by tauros back at Kanto right? And secondly she only have that Lilligant that you give her. You understand right?" You clap your hand and said "Ohhhhh....That remind me!" You then saw Lillie look at you with a nervous expression. You find it cute and said "Don't worry, I will help you so just leave everything to me." Ash step beside you and said "You mean we right?" You look and him and roll your eye.

You all then head outside of the training school and you ask Lillie "Lillie, what pokemon do you want to get?" Lillie thought for a while and said "I not sure what pokemon is good for my team. [Y/N] why not you help me pick." Upon hearing a request and see her smile, you are unable to refuse it. "Hmm.... I wonder Aloha have what kind of pokemon." You mumble to yourself.

"[Y/N] why don't we try the seaside since we are near it?" Ash suggest as he point towards the sea. "You mean like fishing?" You ask him. "Yeah." He nodded. You thought a while and said "Why not?"

Upon reaching the seaside, you guys decided to fish for a water pokemon for Lillie since it is easier. You then walk towards Lillie and pass her some ultraball and some hyperpotion. Ash sigh and said "Some time I wonder how rich you are....not only you give ultraball, you even give hyperpotion, seriously what your problem?" Not understanding what he mean, you decided to ignore him. "Lillie have you fish before?" You ask as you lend her one of your rod. Lillie shook her head and said sadly "I...never fish before. This is first time I try it."
