I felt broken inside. I felt like I lost a chunk of myself. I’m being a bit dramatic but Harry, even though he was only in my life for a few days, meant a lot to me. I decided to phone my friend, Ellie and open up to her about everything that’s happened over the past three days. My life has changed so drastically. Ellie told me to act as if I didn’t care around Harry, as if I could easily find another boy. “Act like you acted before this mess,” she reminded me. As much as I hated to admit it, the guilt I was feeling was eating me alive. I shouldn’t have been such a stubborn cow. Harry was just being nice, and then I had to go and snap at him. I realised we had to talk so I texted him.

“Hi Harry, it’s Jade. I know I’m probably the last person you want to speak to but I really think we need to talk about this whole... mess and get our feelings out in the open. Do you want to meet at Starbucks tomorrow, at around 3? Jade.” I regretted sending that text the second I pressed the send button.

Around two minutes later, I got a text from Harry. “I agree. It’s a date. Harry. x”

I watched as the barista in Starbucks scrawled “Jade” onto the plastic cup. I sat at a seat next to the window as I waited for Harry. Suddenly I heard the door swing open and then swing closed. As I looked up, I saw Harry. His messy brown mop of curls was covered as he had a grey beanie on. I whistled to get his attention. He turned around, his face cracking out into a grin as he saw me. Great, I thought, this is going to be harder than I thought. I grinned back as he came to sit at the seat across from me.

“So...” I started but he cut me off.

“Listen to me, Jade. I’m sorry. I was a complete dick to you. I should have listened to you,” He said.

“It’s okay Harry. I’m sorry too. I shouldn’t have said what I said. I get how you would confuse me as your girlfriend, and you'll find a girl who loves you. I'm so sorry,” I told him.

“It’s okay Jade. Y’know, at the party I wasn’t that drunk that I didn’t mean what I said,” he smiled, cockily.

“What do you mean?” I asked him.

“I mean, I do like you,” Harry murmured.

“Well, what are we gonna do?” I whispered, too embarrassed to look Harry in the eye.

“Until I think this through, I really don’t know,” Harry told me.

“Oh,” I said. The hurt was clear on my face as Harry wrapped me in a hug.

“I’m sorry, babe. I just... I just don’t know. We’re too different,” Harry told me.

“Yeah, but opposites attract, right?” I laughed weakly. He smiled as he wrapped his hand in mine as we left the cafe.

“So, do you want to go on our,” he paused as he counted on his fingers. “Second date tonight?”

“It’d be an honour, Romeo,” I laughed.

“If I’m Romeo, you can be Juliet,” he laughed. I suddenly felt a jolt of electricity run through my body as Harry placed his lips on mine. His kiss felt so breathtaking, like I could run a marathon. I raised my arms above my head, allowing him to wrap his arms around me. I moaned softly, as I felt passion for him course through my veins. Suddenly I felt his wet tongue slip into my mouth. I greeted his tongue with mines. As we rubbed our tongues together I felt his hands slide over my body. I squirmed as he held me. Then, I wrapped my hands around his neck. We kissed passionately until we had to pull back for air.

“Fuck Jade,” he breathed. “That was good.”

“You weren’t too bad yourself,” I smirked. “So, where are we going on our date?” I asked him.

“Just out for dinner, if that’s okay with you?” He said.

“No Harry, I wanted to go to another party,” I said, my voice dripping with sarcasm. “Of course, that’s fine with me!” I giggled. He dropped me off at my house so I could get ready. The car ride was spent in silence, but it wasn’t an awkward silence.

“See you at seven, okay?” he said as I left the car.

“Okay. Bye Harry,” I said as I closed the car door.

A few hours later, I was ready. I invited Ellie over to help me get ready. She wolf whistled as I stepped out of the bathroom.

“Jade! You look stunning, oh my God. Harry’ll definitely want your v-card,” Ellie shouted. I did look pretty cute, even if I do say so myself. I was wearing a dark red dress that went to mid thigh, I had my hair down and Ellie had done my makeup to perfection. My eyes looked really big because Ellie had done a smoky eye look.

“Thank you so much El!” I gasped as I scrutinised my reflection.

“No bother babe. Harry just texted. He said he’ll be over in a minute.” We were interrupted by the sound of the door knocking. “I’ll get it and then I’ll shout you down. Okay?” Ellie said. I nodded. I heard Ellie shouting my name, and I started to walk downstairs. I saw Harry’s jaw drop as I walked downstairs.

Soon, we left the house as Ellie shouted “Oh, and Harry? Don’t forget to put something on the end of it!” I heard as we got to Harry’s car.

“You look beautiful, like if I could you'd be sleeping in my bed tonight,” Harry told me as he started the engine. I was used to Harry being flirty with me, and I just found it amusing.

“You look really handsome,” I said as he placed a kiss on my forehead. We just spent the rest of the car journey chatting until he stopped the car outside Wagamama’s.

“Oh my God, Wagamama’s is my fave! Thank you Harry,” I smiled at him.

We had a lovely time at the restaurant, I thought as he drove me home.

“Jade, what are you thinking about?” Harry asked me, snapping me out of my thoughts.

“Just that, well we had such a lovely time tonight. Thank you so much Harry,” I told him sincerely.

“It’s honestly no bother, babe. I want you to have a good time,” Harry said. We pulled up outside my house and Harry opened the car door for me. Once I got out, we kissed. It wasn’t as forceful and needy as the one we’d shared in earlier today, it was more relaxed. His arms wrapped around my waist as our lips moulded together. I felt that same feeling of electricity running through my body. We pulled away.

“Thank you Harry, for everything. Goodnight.” I said as I kissed him on the cheek.

“Night Jade!” he shouted after me. I honestly felt like I was on cloud nine. I was happy, and there was no doubt about the fact that I really liked Harry Styles.
