Your POV

Andy was right when he said that laying low for a week and a half would be torture. I hope it passes by faster than it sounds. It's only been a day without him and I'm...well...falling apart at the seams.

I'm just chillin' in my room with Vic, he said he wanted to tell me something.

"So what's up?" I asked him, getting up to my bunk. "I don't know how to say this without hurting a little in my heart...(y/n)...I have to leave the pack for a week. I leave tomorrow. I'll be back next Monday." He told me.

"...Where are you going?"

"Your dad has seen me slacking on Saturday night demonstrations, so he's sending me back to training with your uncle William. He said he really wants me to be your betrothed, but what kind of betrothed partner slacks? None in his opinion. So it's back to training for me for a week. The things I do for you, (y/n). I could've told him that you and I won't be getting married, could've told him about your plan to marry Andy, but I didn't. Now, I'm being sent back to training because he thinks you and I are still getting married and he wants to see me stronger as your betrothed." Vic explained.

"A week?! I'll be here, in this room, by myself, for a week?"

"Yea, sounds like heaven, not having me here."

"No! It's actually hell, Vic. I don't like it here when you're not around, everything feels off." I pouted. "It's my fault for slacking. No turning back now. I'm gonna face training again." He shrugged. "You're leaving tomorrow? But...but we have school tomorrow! It'll be Monday. There's work you've gotta get done." I said. "Boss doesn't care, he said I'll just have to make it all up when I get back." Vic plopped into his bunk. "Ooohhh god! But I don't wanna be here by myself. I get so lonely." I whined.

"Lonely how? The pack is always here."

"Lonely cuz you're not. You're my best friend here."

"Oh? And what about Kaytlynn? I thought she was your best friend too." I could hear the priss in Vic's voice when he said that. "You're still salty from when I said she was my best friend? Lord. Well...you're my bestest friend." I fixed my words. "Damn right I am." He snapped his fingers. I hung my upper half off the edge of my bunk to see Vic in his bunk giving me the death stare. "You can be such a salty bitch. Stop it." I laughed.

"IM THE SALTY BITCH?! YOU...I...uh...ok, yea, now that I'm looking back on things, I am pretty salty." He laughed with me.

"Have you packed your things?" I asked him. "What things? I'm going to training, remember? I go in there with nothing but the clothes on my back."

"But the two hour drive to the training grounds. I'm sure you'll get hungry and bored. Pack snacks and something to entertain yourself. Shouldn't pack your phone though, no cell service out there." I clarified.

"Oh true...wanna go to the gas station with me?" He asked.

"YES, YES, YES!" I threw myself out of my bunk and pulled my shoes on. "Yay! Let's go!" He ran out of the room. I ran after him, super excited since I haven't been to the gas station in a while.

"Where are you guys going?" Jessica asked us as we ran downstairs. "GAS STATION, BYE." I ran right out the front door, slamming it behind me. "I'm gonna beat you to it!" Vic challenged me. "Oh no you won't!" I assured him, hopping onto my motorcycle with a smirk.

OFF WE WENT INTO THE RISING MOON. I kept my speed at a somewhat safe level. I wheelied past Vic, his look of triumph faded, then disappeared when I was three feet ahead of him. We soon hit the actual road and we had to slow down a bit so we wouldn't get the police called on us. We're just trying to go to the gas station, not trying to show the coppers who's boss again.
