Tapos na ang Part 1 :) Marami ang mga nangyari. Marami ang mga naisiwalat. Panandalian akong magpapahinga sa pag-a-update since busy rin ako sa trabaho ko sa tunay na buhay. Wala sanang galit o may sama ng loob sa akin dahil sa mga kaganapan. Bago ko simulan ang part 2, allow me to share some facts and trivia from the previous part. Hindi naman ito ganon ka importante pero gusto ko pa ring ibahagi. Pwede niyo rin itong gamitin para sa isang short quiz.

*The name Nathanael is from the Hebrew name Netan'el meaning "God has given". In the New Testament this is the name of an apostle also known as Bartholomew. His mother's maiden name 'Naranja' means 'orange' in Spanish. The name Erwan is probably French since I got it from Erwan Heusaff, a chef, entrepreneur and the brother of Filipina-French actress Solenn Heusaff. Kung showbiz fan ka, malamang alam mong siya ang current boyfriend ni Anne Curtis.

*The name Evangelista is a Spanish term for 'evangelist'. The word 'evangel' means gospel and is Greek in origin. Castillo means 'castle' and his mother's maiden name 'del Rojo' means 'red'. If you translate his name literally, it would be Evangelist of the Red Castle.

*The name Emmanuel is from the Hebrew name 'Immanu'el meaning "God is with us". This was the foretold name of the Messiah in the Old Testament. Her mother's maiden name 'Alferez' means 'second lieutenant'. Emma is the second-in-command sa security force ni Queen Diamond although aaminin kong hindi ko talaga alam ang meaning ng 'alferez' nang una ko iyong ginamit na apelido ni Iñigo. Ang naaalala ko lang, narinig ko na iyon minsan pero di ko ma-recall kung saan. Recently, I remembered na narinig ko 'yon noong highschool pa ako when we studied 'Noli me Tangere'.

*The name Armand or Armando is my tribute to my elementary teacher na sobrang bagsik pero loving sa amin na mga estudyante niya. :) Ang cursed form ni Armand ay isang Minotaur, a creature with the head and legs of a bull and the torso of a man, who guarded the exit to The Labyrinth. See the story of Theseus. Ang pangalan ng asawa ni Armand na si Nina Ruiz ay pangalan ng isa kong reader. I'm thankful na pinagamit niya ang pangalan niya. :)

*The name Malvolio means "ill will" in Italian. This name was invented by Shakespeare for a character in his play 'Twelfth Night'. Nahirapan akong mag-isip ng pangalan ng mga members ng Umbra so nanghiram ako kay Shakespeare. Hindi ko alam na Italian pala ang pangalan na 'yan.

*Catriona is Gaelic form of Katherine. Minsan nanonood ako ng news at nakita ko ang pangalan na 'yan. I thought it was nice and cute. Pangalan 'yan ng reigning Miss World Philippines 2016 na si Catriona Gray. Wala akong ideya na Gaelic pala 'yan at hindi Spanish. Ang Spanish form ng pangalan na 'yan ay Catalina or Katarina. Coincidently, Catarina ang name ng naging asawa ni Oswaldo Symphonia Jr. so masasabi kong hindi ako nawala sa linya.

*Desdemona is derived from Greek dysdaimon meaning "ill-fated". This was the name of the murdered wife of Othello in Shakespeare's play 'Othello'. I personally picked this name for a female villain because it rhymes with an 'evil' Filipino word (alam niyo na 'yon).

*Naomi is from the Hebrew name Na'omiy meaning "pleasantness". In the Old Testament this is the name of the mother-in-law of Ruth.

*Jared is from the Hebrew name Yared or Yered meaning "descent". This is the name of a close descendant of Adam in the Old Testament. Plus, napanood ko ang 'Suicide Squad' where Jared Leto starred as the Joker.

*Samuel is from the Hebrew name Shemu'el which could mean either "name of God" or "God has heard". As told in the Books of Samuel in the Old Testament, Samuel was the last of the ruling judges.

*Zechariah or Zecharias in Spanish is from the Hebrew name Zekharyah meaning "YAHWEH remembers". This is the name of many characters in the Old Testament, including the prophet Zechariah, the author of the Book of Zechariah. The name also appears in the New Testament belonging to the father of John the Baptist, who was temporarily made dumb because of his disbelief.

*Jorge is the Spanish and Portuguese form of George. It is pronounced as /hor-he/. Kung nagkamali kayo ng pronunciation ng pangalan, I advise na basahin niyo ulit ang mga eksenang naroon si Jorge using the correct pronunciation. Pwede niyo ring ulit-ulitin 100x. Joke lang!

*Fausto is the Spanish/Portuguese version of Faustus. Its meaning is "auspicious, lucky" in Latin. Remember the story of Faust, 'yong doctor na ipinagpalit ang kaluluwa niya sa demonyo to achieve power? Kung hindi mo alam ang story, okay lang. :)

*Dorina is Hungarian or Romanian in origin. It is Dorothea in Spanish. Naalala ko ang name na ito sa TV show na 'Strawberry Lane'. Pangalan daw ito ng isang character ni Sharon Cuneta sa pelikula. Semi-Sharonian here.

*Alcides is the Latinized form of Greek Alkeides, derived from alke "strength" and eidos "kind, type". This was another name for the hero Herakles or Hercules. Kung 'di ko pa ni-research, hindi ko ito malalaman pero huli na dahil nagamit ko na ang pangalan. I first heard the name from a Columbian (or Mexican?) telenovela starring Mario Cemarro. Ewan ko kung napanood niyo 'yon.

*Oberon is a variant of Auberon. Oberon was the king of the fairies in Shakespeare's comedy 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'. A moon of Uranus bears this name in his honor. I actually like this name because it sounds like a brand of chocolate.

*Marisol is a combination of Maria and Sol. It also resembles Spanish mar y sol which means "sea and sun". Bago ko pa nalaman ang info na ito, merong mahabang kwento kung bakit Maria del Sol Zarragosa ang name ng partner ni Erwan. Ang nakakaalam ng kwento ay si MZ Kirth Arevalo. Tanungin niyo na lang siya.

*Kung isasalin mo sa English ang pangalang Miguel Alejandro Valiente, magiging Michael Alexander Valiant iyon. Michael is an angel's name, Alexander is a famous king's name and both were valiant (brave).

* Iñigo is a Medieval Spanish form of Eneko. This was the birth name of Ignatius of Loyola, who changed it in honor of Saint Ignatius of Antioch. No wonder pari ang role niya.

*Amalia, Berenice, Consuelo, Divina and Elena were the children of the last Clan Patriarch. Dahil tao lang ang author at madaling makalimot sa dami ng mga pangalan, sinadya niyang A to E ang simula ng mga pangalan nila. Significant sa akin ang Divina dahil fan ako ng AlDub. Carissa, Carlota, Carmela, Carlos and Carolina were Consuelo's children. All the girls have a first name 'Maria' and the only son has the first name 'Jose'. Maria and Jose, as in Jesus' earthly parents.

*James Dean. Madalas niyong mabasa ang pangalan na ito sa later part ng kwento. Nahihirapan akong i-visualize ang character ni Julian Lark. I searched for Hollywood actors and models pero walang nakakuha ng pansin ko (charot!). One night, binigyan ako ng kapatid ko ng copy ng 'Rebel without a Cause'. 1950's pa ang pelikula na ito pero colored na, infairness. Hindi naman ako mahilig sa classic film pero nang makita ko ang main character ng movie, I realized I was looking at a young Julian Hawthorne Lark. I fell in love with him at nagsimula akong magbagong-anyo noong nakaraang supermoon (chos!). Kung nabubuhay si James Dean ngayon, nasa 80 plus na siya but since he died at the age of 24, he remained in his 20's in almost all of his pictures. Now that's one way of immortalizing a person. He only starred in 3 movies na lead role. So sinumang may copy ng 'East of Eden' at 'Giant', i-PM niyo po ako. Usap tayo.

*Nathanael/Erwan died at the age of 24, gaya ni James Dean. Sorry na. :(

*Tierra Del Cielo means 'Land of the Sky or Heavens'.

*A Thunderbird is a giant bird that creates storms with its wings. It's from Northern American mythology. Ito ang cursed form ni Carlos 'Carlitos' Symphonia Jr.

*Luna means 'moon' and Esmeralda means 'emerald' in Spanish.
