hey there delilah,
i played your song again. they all stood on their feet and clapped for me. it was so beautiful, delilah, that i almost cried. that was the best reception my music has ever gotten.
i even spotted an officious man in a suit in the audience, clapping and smiling with the rest of the crowd.
he gave me his business card after the show. things are getting better for us, delilah. we’ll have it good soon. i can feel it.
