I felt...warm. For the first time in a long time. I felt something soft beneath me, enveloping me in its warmth. Damn, had Mikasa bought me a new pillow or something without my constent? Because it was sure soft. So fluffy...But something felt slightly out of place. I snuggled my face deeper into the softness of my pillow. And then, it moved. What in the-- I opened my eyes. Staring right back at me were a pair of sleepy emerald green eyes. I blinked. Then, I noticed something I hadn't before. There were a pair of arms wrapped aroung my waist, keeping me in place with the human heater that was Eren. In fact, Eren and I were snuggled up together in bed. In my bed. His longer legs were tangled with my own short ones and I was almost laying on top of him, our chests flushed against eachother. I cleared my throat. Eren ignored me and held me tighter against me, still half asleep. I widened my eyes in alarm. He murmured something untangible before sighing in my ear, making me shiver slightly as his warm breath touched my skin. My whole being was tense. I was trapped in the arms of a giant with no way out. Although it was pretty comfterable, I still felt slightly flustered.

I tried to wiggle myself out, but I couldn't move. So I sighed and gave up after a few minutes of weird squirming that made me look like a retarded worm. I had enough strength to push him out of my bed, but I stangely didn't want to. And instead of finding another way out, I just admired his face. His hair was a dark chocolate brown and it looked soft as silk. His eyelashes were curled outwards and almost touched his eyelids, that concealed behind them his beautiful emerald green eyes. His lips looked kissable and were tinted a pale pink. His face held a peaceful expression. Over his tanned face were small constellations of freckles sprinkled across his nose and cheeks that you couldn't see unless you were this close. I had a strong urge to run my hands through his hair. And I did, not giving it much thought, I raised my arm and started to run my fingers his softer-than-silk looking dark chocolate hair. And damn was I right. My hands ran through his hair easily, messing it up slightly. My lips parted slightly in awe. Eren softly groaned and snuggled closer to me. He seemed to enjoy the treatment I was giving him, so I didn't stop as his head fell to my chest. I wanted to try something. I gently pulled at his chacolate locks. His eyebrows scrunched up together and his body shuddered. I smirked triumphally at his reaction. Then, I frowned. What the fuck is wrong with me? I couldn't possibly have an attraction towards this little piece of shit now, could I? Who am I kidding? For God's sake I was cuddling in my bed with him. I sighed in frustration and decided to think about it later. I looked down at him. His beautiful everchanging eyes were wide and staring at me in alarm. His eyes caught me by surprise, making my breath hitch slightly. He gulped, his Addam's Apple bobbing up and down with the action. I closed my eyes slightly, softening my features to make him less alarmed. Before I could even process my own movements, I raised my hand and passed it through his hair again. He only looked at me, a blush blooming upon his cheeks. I chuckled softly. He looked down in embarrassment and then looked back at me, opening his mouth to speak.

"Uhm... I hope you slept well...Mikasa told me y-you were n-not feeling s-so good and that was the r-reason you didn't come to s-school...So, I c-came to see how you were doing..." He said, his voice a little shaky and gruff from sleep.

"Oh" I breathed out and nodded slightly in acknoledgement while still running my hand through his silky hair. "Was there a reason you came into my room before?" I asked in curiosity.

He tensed a little. "I c-came here to thank you for yesterday...And t-to give you your homework..." He hesitated "I also c-came t-to tell you about o-our a-art assignment t-together..." He almost whispered, his eyelids drooping over his beautiful eyes.

I stopped running my hand through his hair abruptly, to which he whined slightly. "What art project?" I ask, looking at him.

I loved art, even though I sucked ass at it. He blinked tiredly. "We have to choose a form of art to represent what we think the other's personality is like." He said groggily. "Now, c-could you kindly keep doing what you w-were doing?"

I hummed and ran my hand through his hair. He sighed in content. I grinned slightly...well, more like lifted the corner of my lips a centimeter from where they usually were. A weird feeling bloomed in my stomach. I only pushed it down. I looked to my side table and reached for my phone. I checked the time. 1am it read. I tried to blink off the sleep from my eyes, but it didn't seem to work. I threw my phone to my bedside table and wrapped my arms around Eren, relishing in his warmth. I fell asleep and miraculasly stayed asleep until the morning.

                                                                                    *Le time skip*

I woke up with Eren wrapped up against me. I skillfuly but carefully unwrapped his arms from around me and untangled our legs, I sat on the ledge of the bed. I ruffled my hair and stretched my slightly sore arms upward, yawning. I took a glance at Eren's sleeping form and then left my room, softly shutting the door behind me. I tudged down the stairs, my bare feet making soft thumping sounds against the carpet. I walked over to the kitchen and made some pancakes, setting the table and such. As I was making my morning tea, I heard two sets of feet walkig down the stairs. I looked out of the secluded kitchen's door and saw the two sleepy brats sit on the chairs, their hair messy. Eren's thick-rimmed glasses were tilted to the side slightly, making him look adorable. I chuckled quietly as I put the plate of pancakes on the table.

"Goodmorning my sleepy brats" I said, as I sat down at the head of the table while the rim of my favorite cup sat between my lips.

They barely mumbled a response as they dug in like two beasts who hadn't eaten in years. I served myself a lone pancake (the only one I managed to take before the famished brats took the rest of them). I wasn't that hungry anyways. I wondered if Eren's parents were concerned about his whereabouts. I decided to ask him later. I watched as Mikasa looked at me with a certain look on her face. I raised my eyebrow at her in question. She smirked and glanced at Eren in a suggestive way. I rolled my eyes and looked away, a blush blooming on my cheeks. I ignored the weird looks she sent me as I took my tea cup from the rim with the tips of my fingers and took a sip, looking out the window next to the dining room. I knew she was going to tease me and question me later. And I didn't care honestly.

It was sunny outside finally after weeks of rainy weather and the sunshine warmed my usually cold, pale skin. Small particles of dust floated through the air wherever the sunlight touched. I saw the tree next to our house was shedding its brown, gold and red leaves. I would have to pick them up later. It was almost winter, and I couldn't wait for the cold to come. I absolutely loved winter and not being questioned about my long-sleeved sweaters I usually wore. I wore them to hide a few of my illegal tattoos and a few scars from old dirty fights I used to be in. And it annoyed me that so many people asked me if I cut or if I ever felt hot in them. I usually just shrugged them off. I specially couldn't wait for the white snowfall or the snowdays that usually came after. I sighed silently. Suddenly, I remembered the art project. I turned my head to the side.

"Hey Eren?" I asked.

He snapped his head over at me. "Yeah?"

"When is the project due for?" I asked

"Uhm, the end of the school year..." He paused "Why?" He asked, scrunching his brows together and pushing his glasses up his nose.

"Just wondering..." I said trailing off.

"Oh, okay" He said.

After a few minutes of comfterable silence, he stood up. "I-I should probably leave, my dad s-should be worried about me"

Mikasa looked at him strangely. When he noticed this, he looked at her warningly. Mikasa then nodded and stood. "Levi, I'm going to take the car to take Eren home okay?" I nodded once.

"Drive safely" I said and she rolled her eyes. I turned to Eren. "See you at school on Monday"

He smiled at me widely "Y-yeah, see you then."

They both left. When the door slammed shut, I rolled my eyes and stood up, going to the kitchen to do the dishes. I wondered what that little exchange was about... I shook my head. It was none of my business anyway. Then, I started thinking about Eren's beautiful blue-green eyes that seemed to sparkle as he smiled. I sighed. I was helpless.
