Eve POV

David and I were laying in bed, just staring into each others eyes after what we had just done. We were one now. It would stay that way.

"Eve?" He asked, "I want you forever. Only you." I smiled and kissed him passionately on the lips. His electric blue eyes suddenly snapped open and he growled.

I was shocked. Did I do something? "What is it," I asked and he covered my mouth. He grabbed a pen and the notepad on the bed stand.

Someone is in the house. Get dressed.

I threw on my clothes at lightening speed. I looked at my mate who was already dressed and walked downstairs, me hot on his tail.

"We want the girl vampire boy. I can smell her," a man's voice boomed from the doorway.

David growled and I walked to the window and saw four of them outside. "We can take them" I said in a whispered voice.

He shifted and so did I. "Count to 20 then help me fight," he ordered before going downstairs to fight them.

I counted to 20 and I decided to go through a different way. I opened up the window and jumped onto a man's back, biting into his neck.

"Oww! Little bitch!" He screamed in pain and flipped me off him. I landed on my feet and kicked him in the jaw, sending him flying backwards.

Three men were fighting David so I grabbed one by the hair, kneeing him in the stomach. I was fuming.

How DARE they touch him! I growled loudly and dragged my claws up and down his face, but I felt myself getting held back.

I kicked the man with my feet and dropped down, out of the other guys arms. "Babe! Catch!"

I heard a knife flying towards me so I caught it swiftly. I stabbed the lycan man with the silver blade, he died instantly. The other one got scared and tried to run, but I wasn't going to let that happen.

I flung myself at him and slit his throat with the blade. Smirking as he died slowly. I felt an arm go around my waist and I leaned into David, trying to calm myself.

My claws went back to my normal hands and I felt my fangs go back to normal. David had his usual light brown eyes and my blue ones came back.

"You really are Selene's daughter. A born fighter," he praised, I blushed a bit from the compliment.

"I'm no where near as good as my mother though."

"You are stronger and faster," he argued and I giggled at that. We got ride of the bodies and took a nice bath together.

After I changed into some comfy pjs, enjoying the cold winter weather that Budapest gave us. David and I watched movies, but mostly talked through them.

Suddenly I saw through my mother's eyes. She was walking around through an abandoned warehouse, yelling my father's name.

"Michael! Its me! You're safe now my love!" She said as she heard growls. That made me scared for my mother.

Just then, a hybrid man popped out.

I blinked and saw through my own eyes. "She found him," I said to David.

"She found my father."
