Chapter one

NATALIA'S POV

There I was, walking away from the only pace I called home for so many years. I never thought I would have to leave.

Flashback

"Mom I need money for a new outfit." I told her. "Another outfit, you just got one in October!" she said. "Mom that was almost a year ago. It's September." I say calmly. "What's wrong?" my dad comes in asking. "Natalia doesn't appreciate what we give her. She wants our money to buy herself a new wardrobe" she tells him. "No I only need one-" "Get out of my house if you don't appreciate what we give you." My dad says. "Can I pack my things?" I ask. "No you don't get to have the things you don't appreciate." Mom says. I run upstairs and grab my jacket and my savings. I feel strong arms wrap around me and then I'm pulled down the stairs. My dad throws me outside and says,"Next time maybe you'll be more grateful for what you have, oh wait there is no next time" he laughs and closes the door, locking it.

End Of Flashback

So now I'm walking to the park in hope that there's an open park bench for the night. I find one and lay on it, it's really cold so i put my jacket on and I realize that I should have grabbed a heavier jacket. There's something really heavy in my pocket so i grab what it is and its my phone, but it's dead. I start to count my money and there's only 28 dollars. I know for a fact that I had more than this. What happened to all the money I had put in my savings over the years? The only one who knew about my savings was my......mom. She stole my money! Uggggggg, I'm gonna have to look for a job tomorrow. But for now I need some sleep so I can start on my job hunt early.
