I missed my pack. My mom and dad. My brother but most of all I missed feeling safe and I knew it wasn't going to last because in the morning I needed to be on the next flight out. All of the sudden a loud growl was heard saying the one word I wanted to hear so bad but knew would never really happen. "Mine."

Holding Lilly closer into my side I slowly turn around and meet his eyes. Alpha Eros stands a few feet away holding a duffel bag in his left hand and his phone in his right. I wish the floor would swallow me whole right now. I can't let this happen it can't happen because sooner or later my uncle will come and I can't let him hurt my mate or this pack so with that in mind I narrow my eyes at him and say the first thing that comes to my mind. "Nope." I turn back to the pan and continue to pull it off the heat.

Slamming his fist on the counter he growls loud enough to shake the house. Ugh why does he have to make this so hard why does he have to fight me! "Would you be quiet she's sleeping!" I growl back.

"Anna is everything alright in there!" Brit aka my mates sister yells making her way into the kitchen. "Oh, hey umm bro I thought you were umm going to be gone for a few more days?" She looks at me with big eyes and mouths a I'm sorry.

"Hey Brit will you take Lilly I think I better go. Tell the boys I said bye. Oh and the breaded hamburgers should be done here in a few minutes. I'll be on the next flight out tomorrow morning. It was good to meet you all." I give Brit a big hug and hand her Lilly.

"Are you sure you don't want to stay the night we have a extra room you can stay my brother won't mind will you?" She says giving Eros a death glare.

"No it's all good I have been here long enough anyways I don't want to be here longer than necessary." Bowing my head to Eros I hurry for the door grabbing my shoes and my coat off the hook I race out of the house and start walking down the sidewalk. After walking about 3 miles I finally come to a hotel and make my way inside "room please."

"Ok miss would you like one or two beds?"

"One"

"Alright let's see smoking or no smoking?"

"No smoking please"

"Ok I have room 208 third floor for you miss"

"She won't be needing it jimmy but thanks anyways." Why did he have to follow me!!

"Actually she will be needing it thank you jimmy." I say as I snatch the keys from his finger and turn on my hill. "Oh and send me up some Tylenol to hun. Oh and thank you have a wonderful evening doll." Blowing jimmy a kiss I hurry towards the elevator and step in. I can't believe I found my mate! He has dark brown eyes like melted chocolate and dark hair almost black and the most amazing body I have ever seen. And I can't have it. I can't have him. Holding in my tears i hurry to my room and slam the door and fall on the bed crying. Why did my parents have to be taken from me. Where is my brother? Is he ok? Why can't my uncle leave me alone? Why is someone keep banging on my door!?! Wiping my face I open the door. "I really need that tylenol right... what the hell do you want now Eros?" Turning on my heel I slam the door shut but Eros has already made it through the door. Stupid werewolf. "We need to talk"

"No alpha we don't"

"Yes we do! And will you please stop calling me alpha my name is Eros!"

"Alpha we have nothing to speak about so please show yourself out!" I really hope he can't hear the tremble in my voice because if I look at him right now he will see the tears on my cheeks and I know I will crack.

"Anna will you even look at me?" Oh his voice is so soft almost like melted butter but I can't. Shaking my head no I walk towards my suitcase to pull out my pajamas.

"Anna you don't get it I have been looking for you for years you can't just leave me your mine and I will not let you go!" He growls but I just grab my shorts and tank top and slip into the bathroom locking the door behind me. "Eros you don't know me and it's better for us both if you don't."

Slipping on my short shorts that say cheer on the butt and my matching black cheer tank top I open the door and walk right into a wall. Or maybe it was the hottest man I have ever seens chest but it was almost as hard as a wall. "Ouch" I mutter as I rub my head. "Why is your chest so hard!?!" I grumble looking up at him.

"What are you wearing?"

"My pjs I'm going to bed and you are leaving."

"Actually I'm pretty sure I'm staying here with my mate like it's supposed to be."

"No your not Eros you need to lea-"

"Were you crying Anna?" His voice is hard and his eyes almost black.

"N-no no alpha" I say looking at the floor and flinching back when he brings his hand to my face. Putting his hand back to his side his jaw tenses. "Who hit you?"

"N-no one alpha sir."

"Stop calling me alpha Damit!"

"I'm a-sorry pl-please don't h-hit me." I feel broken and weak and my voice comes out rough. I hate myself so much. My uncle was right I'm not strong enough to be his mate. I'm weak and broken and ruined.

"Anna I-I would never hit you I couldn't hurt you ever!"slowly a sweat breaks out on my neck and my legs feel weak. I knew this would happen but I can't let Eros see he will never want me ever if he does. So with all the strength left in me I start pushing Eros to the door but he doesn't move. "Eros I-i need need you to l-leave now."

"Anna we need to talk you need to let me help you!"

"I can't you don't no help." Dang now I can't even talk this is the worst night of my life.

"Anna are you ok?"

"I you go." Wow I think the floor is moving wow I didn't know it was that close to my face! That's so weird! Suddenly I'm lifted off the floor and laid on the bed. "Anna can you hear me what's going on?" He really sounds worried I wonder why?

"No mark don't want." black spots show up in my vision"you are mine! No one can have you but me!" Suddenly I feel something sharp in my neck and then a feeling of pure pleasure before the darkness consumes me.
