"Weapons?" Holly had been enjoying her time with the demigods, and didn't want to leave. She wanted to continue learning about them. In all honesty, Artemis wanted to stay too. They were an intriguing bunch of people, to say the least. "Yeah," Annabeth interrupted their thoughts. "Each demigod has a unique weapon they choose. They can still use other weapons, but the one they choose will be their main one." She explained. "Well, let's get going." Chiron continued. "You all may come along, if you so choose." He suggested to the group of demigods, and proceeded to trot forward.
To Artemis and Holly's surprise, everyone came along. They made small talk for a while, then Leo turned slightly towards Holly and Artemis and asked something. "So are you two, like, going out?" Finally someone said it. Everyone in the small group of demigods, had that on their mind. Of course, no one wanted to just ask. Artemis on the other hand, almost tripped over his own shoes at the suddenness of the questions. Luckily, Holly grabbed his arm in time. Holly however, couldn't exactly remember what that phrase ment. All these stupid mud-people sayings, what does that one mean again? Then, the realisation hit her like a rock. "Errr" Artemis grumbled, "No, no most certainly not. Holly and I are completely platonic friends." It must be said, that Artemis sounded a bit more than awkward saying that. Holly was simply walking ahead, head facing the floor. "Platonic?" Percy wondered, and Artemis remembered that he had to dumb down his sentences for the demigods. "He means that we're just friends." Holly corrected. "Right." Leo finished, and everyone continued to make small talk.
Nico had been hanging out at the back of the group. It wasn't until Will dragged him forward and started talking to him, that he said anything. For all this time, his eyes were on Artemis and Holly. Why? You ask.  It's because Nico sensed something from them. They were dead. Or at least had been dead some point in their lives. They reminded him of what his own sister, Hazel felt like. Yet they claimed to be completely normal. Something fishy was going on...
Holly herself was thinking about Nico, and why he seemed so familiar. She couldn't fully remember. Maybe it was- "Here we are," Chiron announced. "The weapons shed."
Shed would be an understatement. It was more of a house than a shed. A very large house. Right next door, was a small area filled with targets, battle practice dummies, and other training objects. Once everyone walked into the 'shed' they saw walls and tables covered in all sorts of weapons. Swords, daggers, knives, bows, guns and even more that Holly couldn't name. They were scattered everywhere, hung on walls, flung across tables and many simply in a pile. "You may pick anything." Chiron walked across the room with his arms out. "This has taken many decades to collect. Choose wisely." Holly and Artemis wandered around the room looking for something that caught their eyes. All the other demigods talked with each other and looked around as well.
Eventually, Holly and Artemis drifted back next to each other. "I don't see the post of this. I can't weild a weapon, and we'll be leaving as soon as I figure out how to." Artemis whispered to Holly. She just continued to looks at weapons, "Oh just pick something. " she grumbled. Holly saw something in the corner of his eye. She went to it, and saw that it was a gun. It looked almost identical to the Neutrino 3000, and by Holly's estimation, it worked like one too. It even shot out a beam of celestial gold, instead of a bullet. The side had the word, 'αντάρα' inscribed on it. "Antára." Holly translated. "Mayhem." Grover aproched her. "Yeah. One of the cool things about being a demigod is that you get to read Greek. Or so I've heard. " He then went back to Percy and Annabeth and continued chatting with them.  Artemis walked over to Holly. "That's in Greek. You can still use the Gift of Tongues on low magic?" He pondered. "Well, the Gift of Tongues is more of an evolutionary thing. I can use it with no magic at all. This was different though. It-" Holly started was struggling to find the right words. "It didn't feel like like I used the Gift at all."  Chiron trotted over to Holly. "That's an interesting choice. 'Mayhem' is an incredibly difficult weapon to use. In fact, I usually don't let new campers choose a gun as their first weapon. Usually." Chiron trotted away, and that just left Holly and Artemis looking for a weapon for Artemis. The thing was, Artemis was terrible with any form of weapon. Eventually after some searching, he found a nice sword with επιδεξιότητα inscribed on the hilt. The blade itself was a mix between bronze and gold. "Epidexiótita, Skill. It is an incredibly unique blade formed with celestial bronze and imperial gold." Artemis smirked, "I am unique. My blade deserves no less." Holly rolled her eyes, then they all walked back to the demigods, when Annabeth noticed Holly's weapon. "I thought you didn't give newcomers a gun for a weapon?" She asked Chiron. Chiron smiled, "Holly tells me that she is quite skilled with a gun. I've let her keep one." Annabeth seemed confused, "But, I thought you couldn't use guns in Australia?" Holly was startled by this. "We can't, but I've been to America many times before." Annabeth simply nodded, yet she felt something strange going on. Nico felt the same way. He felt like he should investigate. If these people had really been dead, and they know to use guns, they might be dangerous. Even if they insisted that they led a normal life.
