To Live a Different Life

Chapter 1

"The Vampire Council and the Vampire Hunters are all after me because I'm a pure blood so me and Gaara are going into hiding. We'll be the last place you'd expect. We'll find a town and live amongst humans me and Gaara are getting a fresh start and your not going to stop us."

"Gaara and I." Sakura corrected.

"What?"

"You said me and Gaara it would be Gaara and I." I facepalmed.

"Really?"

"Yes now please continue." I sighed at the bubblegums stupidity.

"We're leaving now, Gaara." I called and my little ginger followed after obediently.

"Wait!" Sasuke called, "So this whole time it was you? You almost killed Sakura!" He shouted and Kakashi seemed shocked at this new information. "You almost bit her! What were going to turn her into a monster as well?" He seemed angered and that just fueled my cockiness and made me smirk.

"No. In fact I was going to kill her drain her of every drop of blood."

"Naruto you would kill your own teammate?"

"Kakashi-sensei we have to save him, we can save him right?" Sakura asked and Kakashi sighed.

"Sakura he's to far gone. Pure bloods are different from the half breeds. Pure bloods have this certain darkness in their hearts. When you are born a vampire from the second you open your eyes you choose the path you wish to take. Very few pure bloods choose a path of righteousness. It is obvious to me now which path Naruto has chosen. He chose a path stained with blood, a path in which one has no regrets and must kill their emotions. Naruto's far too gone to save now." After Kakashi finished his little speech I started laughing, insanity etching its way into my mind.

"Oh Kakashi~ well I do believe we must be going now. Come Gaara, who knows maybe we'll return one day, but you won't be able to tell it's us. Good luck." When I finished speaking I placed a hand on Gaara's shoulder and threw down a smoke bomb. We could just shunsin away but I didn't feel like it. "Come on." I whispered and Gaara nodded as we took off.... into the daylight.

We stopped at a small cave only a little ways from the village. "Naruto." Gaara warned sending people approaching us.

"Don't worry. It's not Konoha, I can tell it must be that dreaded Vampire Council. Or maybe the Vampire Hunters." I told him when 4 figures appeared before us.

"I would say the latter was correct." The tallest one spoke.

"Oh so you're hunters? Good luck killing me I'm a pureblood I'll have you know."

"We know, we can sense it. The black chakra in you." I let my face show surprise for a split second. "I can tell you've never faced a pro before." The hunter told me as a smirk graced his face. "Let us introduce ourselves. I am Takashi Hido."

"Kyo Suda."

"Earl Veitch."

"And I am Axel Weismann." I nodded, Axel was definitely the leader. Out off all of them he had the oddest look. He was wearing a simple white shirt and had a bandanna on the top of his head. I also noticed that his left arm was missing, nothing but a sleeve swaying in the wind.

"Well Weismann I'd love to stay and chat, but me and my companion must go!" I bowed and grabbed Gaara's wrist teleporting out of the area. "Few that was close. We better hurry Gaara they're still close." Gaara nodded and we took off moving at the speed of light. "Let's rest now." Gaara nodded and we both sat down in a forest near Kumo.

After a bit we stood up and stretched. "Let's go find some place to stay." I nodded and we headed deeper into the forest. I cut down a few trees holding two of them as Gaara used his sand to grab four. We quickly made use of the trees building a large tree house in an even larger tree. (The picture at the top)

"We're living in a tree house." I deadpanned and Gaara nodded, "I feel like a child." Gaara shrugged and we used the remaining wood to furnish the house. "Alright, hey Gaara help me make a barrier to hide this then we can go into the village to get food and stuff."

"Okay." He walked up to me until we were standing side by side and we both started doing hand signs.

"NINJA ART: BARRIER DEMON SEAL!" We shouted in unison and a large red dome covered the entire tree house, and the tree before disappearing.

"Good now no one will be able to see the house."

We walked into the Village Hidden In The Clouds and were immediately stopped. "Let us in." I spoke my eyes flashing purple. The guards nodded and we were aloud entry. We walked over to a ramen stand to eat and ordered. "I'll take one Miso ramen please!" I cheerfully ordered my mouth watering in anticipation.

"I'll have the same." Gaara spoke keeping his voice calm and emotionless. We were happily eating when I felt to dangerous presences heading our way.

"Do you sense that Gaara?" I asked and saw my companion nod.

"Jinchuriki."
