Messy Maynards - Conor or Jack???

New High School - Day 1

Hey all! So just thought I'd let you know that not all chapters will be this short! Thank you and let me know what you think! :)

Jack's POV
It's my first day at my new school and I'm feeling pretty excited. My best mate Abe moved here two years ago so I had been to a few parties and events with him. I'm positive that I would have met some of the people before and I would recognise and know a couple of familiar faces. I'd managed to get myself expelled from my previous school, where Conor, Anna and I had all been for our entire lives. Being our typical stupid 16-year-old selves, my mates and I all got incredibly drunk the night (and morning, opps) before our major end of year final exam and by the time we had reached school the next day, we were all still drunk. Unfortunately, our acting skills, which we thought were excellent, were apparently rubbish and we were all sent to the principles office immediately, where our parents were called and we were forced to explain ourselves. Despite us all admitting to our stupid actions, we were all expelled. My parents were rather furious however, I reminded them that I could have done or been involved with much worse things.

I was sitting with a few boys at lunch on my first day, when I saw a group of girls walk by and sit on the table next to us. A few of them came over to some of the boys and started having flirtatious conversations. These girls were all stunning and one of them stood out like a diamond. She had the most perfect hourglass figure, minimal natural makeup and long wavy blonde hair.

"Woah, those girls are real fine and who is that perfect blonde?" I curiously asked one of the boys.

"They sure are, and most of them are taken by lads in this group or in year 12. The blonde one is Y/N. She cam here last year when she arrived back from LA. She was originally born in London but her father is massive in the music industry and moved them over to LA. Now that she's back, she has every guy on edge all fighting for her. She's different though, she is genuine and not fake like any of the others. She is a real down to earth girl and she is an absolute gun at football too." Says Harry.

"OMG she plays football, why is she doing this to me, what more could I want? She is literally gorgeous, Do you reckon I'll have any classes with her?"

"I mean you'd be lucky to. You'll find out today."

As me and Abe were heading to our English class, which we were already late to on my very first day, I see Y/N coming from behind us. Is she going to our class? I bloody hope so. Me and Abe walk in seconds after the bell rings, just managing to sneak in behind the teacher who was facing the board, meaning they didn't notice. Y/N comes in about a minute after with a boy who was standing very close to her. As they walk in they were laughing together and both adjusting their clothes.

"Sorry we're late Ms, we had a meeting with our PE teacher about our upcoming football tournament".

"That's fine, just hurry next time" the teacher says as the two sit down in the row in front of me and Abe.

For the duration of the lesson, I overheard them talking about LA, football, their last party, surfing and even Nandos. I was getting the impression that these two were more than friends, which made me rather sad and even jealous. I don't know why this made me feel sad as I hadn't even spoken to Y/N or known her for more than a day. For the remainder to the day, my mind was focused and stuck on Y/N. There was something about her that drew me in like a magnetic field. I arrived home after my first day, pleased it was over but also excited to begin my mission on getting Y/N. There was a party on Saturday night at my friend Will's place, which I was positive Y/N would be at. I'm planning on pulling her aside and hopefully getting a chance with her.
