I stare at my reflection. My hair is longer now.
I hold a price twirling the red lock before bringing it out scissors in my other hand.
"You know I can do that for you right?" Kat says as she leans in the door way.
"I know....I just wasn't to do the first one...I needed to get back on my feet a but, it's been what, a year being stuck here and not a way found to get back to the nin world? I need to refresh myself a little. I need to change." I said looking into her blue eyes, my red ones shining with unshed tears.
She smiled at me softly coming forwards. "Then, here's this, I'll cute your hair, after you cut the first lock, then you cut mine after cutting one lock for myself, we'll keep those in the box. You know the one with all our tattered bloody clothes?" She said now beside me.
I smiled. "After this, we work harder to get back, yes?" I said bringing the scissors closer.
"Right." She says.
With a snip. Our hearts lifted our heavy burdens of being stuck, of the loss of Kuna, of the loss of an opportunity to finally have a real home.
Now we're determined, to get back there.
Back home.
Just wait for me Naruto.
