Chapter 8

After an hour

"Break!!" Chanyeol cheered when the hands of his wrist watch exactly hit an hour as he kept glancing at his watch every 5 mins and layed back while stretching.

And here I thought I would get tired of writing.
But then again what goes the way I think when I'm with him.

"I'm getting tired of breaks." Baekhyun sighed as he looked down at Chanyeol.

"You will forget all about tiredness after lunch." Chanyeol replied as he stood up and started going downstairs with Baekhyun behind him.

"What do you want to have for lunch?" Chanyeol asked once they stepped inside the kitchen.

"Anything is fine." Baekhyun replied and with that both of them started to make their lunch.

"I'm going to give this to Sehun." Chanyeol said as he stepped out of the kitchen with a tray of food in his hands.

Baekhyun smiled at the gone figure of Chanyeol seeing how much he cared for the younger since for a moment Baekhyun forgot that there were three people in the house not two as he proceeded to make lunch for two but was reminded by the giant.

Baekhyun started placing their little lunch on the coffee table in the living room and waited for the other while watching the television since the giant hasn't still returned.

Chanyeol must be feeding him or Sehun must be refusing.

"Did he ate?" Baekhyun asked when he saw the other coming down the stairs.

"Half of everything with force." Chanyeol replied as he plopped down beside Baekhyun.

As thought.

Baekhyun shook his head when he saw the giant devouring his lunch just like a giant and with a sigh he too ate his lunch both of them finished their lunch and was just watching some shows when he thought of asking Chanyeol the question which have been corrupting his mind lately.

"Umm, Chanyeol can you tell me exactly the reason why Sehun is like he is?" Baekhyun asked carefully.

The other was silent for a minute but eventually nodded slowly. At that Baekhyun off the television and turned towards Chanyeol who was facing him too but was looking at his lap and did a long sigh before he began.

"It was a year ago-um well to be exact a year and four months ago when we were in the final year of high school. It was the beginning of our semester when his two years of boyfriend-"

Chanyeol looked up the stairs afraid Sehun would hear him and whispered,"-Luhan broke up with him, it was since then that Sehun has become like he is."

"Sehun had a boyfriend!?" Baekhyun asked a little surprised.

"I mean, he just don't seem like the person to be in a relationship." Baekhyun tried covering up his outburst not wanting the other to be offended with the question about his friend.

"I know but when Luhan was still in his life he used to be so happy, playful, mischievous and naughty too, he even used to say cheesy lines to Luhan in front of us. You won't believe but you could literally see his love for Luhan in his eyes back then. He was not a bit like he is." Chanyeol said as he smiled on his own at the memories.

Why did Luhan broke with Sehun then?

"Why did Luhan broke with him?" Baekhyun asked out his thought.

"We also don't the reason. Just before the beginning of our final year they went for a short trip from where Sehun returned alone and locked himself, half of us got busy with Sehun and half of us tried searching for Luhan since he didn't returned for a week but it was in vain."

"When we told Sehun about it he too started searching for Luhan and continued for days until a letter from Luhan came one day and he stopped. we tried asking him what happened but he just told us that they broke up and Luhan doesn't want us to look for him. After that Sehun stopped coming out of his room completely."

"He wouldn't eat, drink or even move. All he did was breath lying on his bed like a dead body staring at nothing deep in his own thoughts. Half of the semester past away like that until we had to hospitalised him, he was at least feed through a tube there. We even had him see some psychiatrist but it still didn't help much. It was like living in a nightmare."

"The Sehun we are seeing now is far better because now he at least eats, drinks and walks. Sometimes even talk a little too." Chanyeol released a long breath as he laid his head back on the couch.

"Do you know where Luhan is now?" Baekhyun asked as he leaned his head on the other's shoulder.

"Yeah, when we asked our teacher he told us that Luhan transfered to the States." Chanyeol replied closing his eyes.

"So, his not in contact with anyone anymore?"

"We are except for Sehun. But not as close as before many things have changed since then. I guess time changed things between all of us."

"He still miss him?" Baekhyun looked up at Chanyeol.

"Not only miss Sehun yearns for him but his not the only one we all miss him too. He really was precious to all of us." Chanyeol leaned onto Baekhyun head.

Baekhyun stopped himself from asking any further as he could detect the sadness in the other's voice.

I know, its understandable.

Evening

"Chanyeol wake up." Baekhyun started waking up the giant as the Sun was going down.

"Hmmmm." Chanyeol responded a little.

"Wake up we have still got notes to complete." Baekhyun said at which the other slowly opened his eyes and started rubbing it while yawning and stretched as he stood up after that both of them made their way upstairs.

Zzzzzzzzz

"Yeah mom." Chanyeol said as he answered his call.

"What!when!"Chanyeol asked.

"What! I will be there just wait." Chanyeol said and looked at Baekhyun with panick as he cut the call.

"I have to go its urgent, is it okay?" Chanyeol asked Baekhyun.

"Sure go ahead, only half a pile is left anyway." Baekhyun replied at which the other smiled gratefully and rushed downstairs with Baekhyun following.

"Baek, can you make dinner for Sehun?" Chanyeol asked the other as they reached the door.

"Okay."

"Thanks again and make sure to have him eat in front of you or he won't eat and waste your hard work." Chanyeol said at which the other nodded.

"Use force if you have to!" Chanyeol yelled as he sprinted off into the darkness.

After that Baekhyun went back to write the notes and didn't move even a bit until he was done.

It was a quarter past seven when he was done and made his way down to the kitchen to make dinner for the younger.

How should I enter and what am I suppose to say?

Baekhyun was standing in front of Sehun's door with a tray of food for 5 mins now, too nervous to even knock which resembled the situation he faced on his first class on the first day only now Chanyeol wasn't there and he couldn't even turn to another room as he have to see the younger eat his dinner.

Baekhyun don't be nervous just knock. His not a monster and his definitely not going to eat you.

His just a handsome-zombie who doesn't eat brains and you just have to see him eat his food.... also his younger. Why to be nervous?

Baekhyun breath in a long breath before releasing it and knocked on the door.

Once
Twice
Thrice

But there was not any answer nor a sound from the other side. Baekhyun stood still for a while before turning the knob slowly which creaked open.
