"Aaaahh!" The scream of my final friend rang through my ears. Her blood covered body fell in front of me as I stood there stunned. Four blood covered bodies laid in front of me. The rusty red wolf turned towards me, baring it's teeth and snarling.

I looked around quickly as the beast stalked towards me. A knife sat on the counter by the sink waiting to be cleaned. I picked it up slowly as the wolf growled loudly at my actions and leaped at me. Without my brains command, my hands moved, plunging the knife in between the wolf's ribs with a sickening sound that made me want to vomit. Blood splattered all over my clothes, my eyes were shut as I felt the gravity pull on the lifeless body and pull it the ground with a thump.

I slowly opened my eyes, preparing to take in the disaster of bodies and blood. Tears formed in my ears and started streaming down my face, a slight sob escaped my lips as I looked at my former friends. Four human bodies and one wolf body all lied on the ground, unmoving. I tasted the bile as it rose to by throat, seeking a way out. Slowly, I approached the wolf body that lied motionless among the mess. I got within an arms length away when the head of the wolf shot up, it's eyes now a pitch black, it took the knife out of it's ribs. I darted away, tripping backwards and landing on my butt. Dread filled me as I looked at the savage wolf now healing.

The approaching sirens speeding towards her house were loud and drew the wolf's attention. It perked up its ears to hear the loud wailing of the sirens. Looking at me, it growled with a this-isn't-over-yet-look in its black eyes. With that it sped out the open sliding glass door that led into the back and out to the dark forest that swallowed the beast. A minute later siren lights were flashing through my windows. I went to my friends, hot tears streaming down my cheeks.

The police burst open the door when I didn't move to answer it. After that it was a blur, they pulled me away from the body of my friends. My shirt was covered in their blood and I couldn't stop crying. They checked me for wounds and asked questions. The questions that never stopped and never will.

"Are you okay?"

"Can you tell us what happened?"

"Did you see where it went?"

"Can you describe what happened?"

"Where are your parents?"

These questions were asked and many more came at the funeral of my only four friends, but none of this was my biggest concern. My main concern was the threat that wolf's eyes had carried and I knew it was going to come after me.
