Chapter 1

Chapter One: The First Day

Ally's POV:

Dear diary,

It's my first day of the best next 4 years of my life. High school. Me and Austin are gonna take it on together. We've been best friends since forever. Nothing will ever change that.

I closed my diary and placed it under my pillow. I then grabbed my backpack and went downstairs. My dad was getting ready for work.

Mr Dawson: Look who it is, the one and only, high schooler Ally Dawson

Ally: Dad stop it you're embarrassing

Mr Dawson: Would it help if I wore a cheerleader uniform in the car?

Ally: Haha very funny dad

Mr Dawson: You ready? We can't be late AGAIN picking up Austin

Ally: Yeah I'm ready

I was wearing my blue sweater from Victoria Secret, black leggings and white converse. I had curled my hair and put a little makeup on, after all it is my first day of high school. We got in the car and drove to Austin's house to pick him up.

Austin's POV:

I was waiting for Ally on my porch. She's always late so sometimes I just sit out here and enjoy the weather. At 7:29 she pulled into the driveway. Finally on time for once. I ran to the car and got in the backseat.

Austin: Her Ally, Hey Mr Dawson!

Ally's dad pulled out of the driveway and started driving.

Mr Dawson: SO Austin, are you excited for high school?

Austin: I'm really excited! A fresh start, am I right?

Ally: Really? I'm kinda nervous

Austin: Ally you're ALWAYS nervous, Loosen up it'll be great

We pulled into the school. It was huge. Marino Manatee High School. Once we got to the entrance, me and Ally got out of the car and Mr Dawson left.

Austin: You ready?

Ally: Yeah I guess so

We walked into the school. It was very crowded, students everywhere. Freshmen, Sophmores, Juniors and Seniors. Ally looked freaked out. For a second I forgot she was scared of big crowds. I put my arm around her.

Austin: It's okay, I'm here

Ally's POV:

Austin wrapped his arm around me and told me everything's ok. We began to walk down the hallway again. We got in line to get our locker assignments. Once we got to the front, we were facing a very short lady.

Vice Principal: Name?

Ally: uh Ally Dawson

Vice Principal: Locker 108. Next.

Vice Principal: Name?

Austin: Austin Moon

Vice Principal: Locker 110. Next.

Thank god me and Austin weren't far apart. There was someone in between us. We got our combinations and went to our lockers. I put all my stuff in them then turned to Austin.

Ally: Hey, I wonder who's in between us.

Austin's POV:

We were trying to see who was the person in between our lockers. Then a guy started walking towards us.
