The sound of the small doorbell ting-a-ling as Hoseok entered the warm and cozy café. He looked around and found me seating at the corner of the café sipping my cappuccino. He instantly smiled and walked towards me. Hoseok dragged the chair and made me startled when I was still holding my cup. I shot a glare at him and he giggled.

"Sorry I'm late. Traffic jam again as usual", said Hoseok.

"It's alright. I just want to meet you to give you something anyway", I said.

Hoseok looked confused and tilted his head.

"Something? What do you mean by 'something'?", he asked.

I sighed and took out a piece of white rectangular envelope from my jeans pocket. I looked at Hoseok's face with a calm expression.

"W-what is this?", he asked.

"Take it. I want to see you reading it", I said and gave a reassured smile.

He was surprised of the sudden change of my voice tone. He shook his head and slightly pushed my hand away.

"I can't accept this. Why are you doing this? This is not you, Yoongi", he said and I know he was just worried of me.

I couldn't help myself but just smile even though I was tearing apart inside. I handed him the letter again and my hands were a bit shaky but I hope he would not notice that.

"Just take it, Hoseok. I want to hear you read and see your reaction just for once. Oh, you know about my inner feelings", I said sarcastically.

He clicked his tongue in disbelief while crossing his arms. He stared into my eyes to determine if I lied which obviously I did not lie at all. He smirked and quickly grabbed the letter away from my hand. The sound of him ripping the envelope made me startled. Hoseok raised an eyebrow and glared at me.

"Too strong?", he said and showed a mischievous smile on his face. I chuckled and stared at his flawless features from his gorgeous orange fluffy hair to his wide forehead that I loved to flick it, his shining eyes and lastly his smile like sunshine. I love every bit of him but sadly we were not destined for each other.

Hoseok opened the letter that I wrote and took a deep breath. He opened his mouth and started to read the first two words.

"Dear Hoseok", he said.

I closed my eyes while listening to his voice reading through the texts. As he continued reading, I opened up my eyes and looked outside recalling all the memories we had together. I suddenly remembered the day I joined a dance crew called Neurons. Hoseok was the captain of the crew well, that was what they called him. His flexibility was no joke. I thought his limbs were made out of a chewing gum or something super elastic.

The moment he fell in love with me when I helped him with his personal problems. He had a tough situation between him and his dad. He also had a mental illness because of the stress and depression while going through hard life. Time flew quickly and I didn't realised I was his guardian who took care of him and loved him. I even composed a song and wrote the lyrics myself for his 23rd birthday. What a memory we had but eventually my parents wouldn't let me date him. They refused and told me to break up with him. I refused madly at first but I saw my mother was looking at me with tears in her eyes. "Son, we already arranged everything for you even your marriage", said my dad.

"You don't have to do this", said Hoseok when he was done reading my letter. He dropped the enveloped and looked at me in disbelief. I sighed heavily and tried hard not to show my tears. I bit my bottom lip and looked outside. He holds my hands and started to cry. I looked around and everyone was looking at us. Some of them were whispering and glaring at me because I made him cry. I stood up, grabbed his right wrist and pulled him outside while he was still sobbing.

"Yoongi. W-why? I give you all my heart and take care of you very well", cried Hoseok. I ruffled my hair in frustration and hugged him tightly. He cried in my arms and I whispered, "I'm sorry, Hoseok. It wasn't my decision. Please forgive me". He wiped off his tears and sniffed. He shook his head and hit my chest. It hurts but I do deserve the pain.

I put both of my hands on his shoulders and gazed into his eyes. "Hoseok, listen to me", I said. He gulped and nodded slowly. "You will always be my hope and my angel. I couldn't forget the first day we met, the first date we had, the first time we fought, the first time I told you that I love you and everything we did. It was perfect", I babbled. I took a deep breath and continued, "I know it was sudden but I hope we still could be friends".

"Does your parents really hates me that much? Don't they always support in everything you do?", he asked. I shook my head and tried to think for an explanation. I should have known that he would act like this. "I'm so sorry, Hoseok. You can't be disrespectful to your parents, right?", I explained. He looked up at the sky to prevent his tears from falling again. He stepped back and mumbled something. Then, he looked at me with a smile on his face. I'm not sure if that was really a smile. It creeps me out.

"I understand your situation, Yoongi. If I was you, I would do the same too", he said. He sniffed and hugged me for the last time. "Thank you for bringing happiness into my life, Yoongi", he said happily. "Even though it would be hard for me to forget you as a lover but we can still be friends. Why not?", he giggled. I was glad that he accepted the end of our relationship with ease. "Promise me you won't hold a single grudge on me", I said. He quickly nodded. "Pinky promise and cross my heart", he said while letting out a soft laugh.

Hoseok let out his right hand and shed a tear. I looked at his tears falling down his cheeks then looked at his hand. "Come on. It's just a simple handshake", he said. I scoffed and shook his hand. "Don't forget to keep in touch with me", he said. I nodded and patted his head. "Thanks for everything, Hoseok. I won't forget the things you've did too. Remember that", I said. He chuckled and turned around. "I guess you owe me too. Well, I'll be going now", he said.

He walked away but stopped a few distance from where I stood. He turned around and ran back to me. "Your letter", he said and gave it to me. I shook my head and gave it back to him. "Keep it as a memory", I said. He sighed heavily and nodded. I smiled and kissed his forehead for the last time. After that, we said our goodbyes and went separate ways.
