I remember last month, while I was eating silently in a restaurant when suddenly a woman seat in front of me. And she smiled at me. I was frozen at that moment and I don't know why but there's something with her eyes.
I don't know what gotten into me but the next day I decided to go back to that restaurant, hoping to see those eyes. But I didn't see it.
And my reminiscing suddenly broke when "Rod! Call Kaye Ann we're going to eat!" my mom called.
Kaye Ann is my five year old sibling.
"Yes Mom, were coming."
"Hey sissy come on it's timefor dinner" I said.
"Okay let's go!" Kaye said happily
"The first day of class would be tomorrow. Have you prepared your stuffs?" mom said.
"Err.... yup" I said.
"How about you little miss have you prepared yours?"
"Yes mom! Rod helped me. I'm so excited for tomorrow I'll be able to see my friends again." Kaye said happily.

I got up from the bed and fix it. Then I prepare for school.
When I went downstairs Kaye Ann and Mom were already eating their breakfast.
"Come and eat Rod" mom said.I sat down. And tap Kaye's head.
After eating we headed at the door to leave. "Take care of Kaye, understand?" Mom reminded.
"Yes mom. Bye" and I kissed her cheeks "Bye mom" Kaye
And we headed, holding Kaye's hand.
When we got to school I walk her first in her classroom.
Then I got to my class I quickly find a place to seat, and there's a vacant near the window, perfect!
While waiting for the teacher and my other classmates I decided to listen to music.
"Hey bro, long time no see" My friend Jasper and Andy suddenly appeared. And we do our hand signs.
"How's your vacation" Andy ask. "Well it's fine but kinda' boring"
We aren't able to talk more because our teacher entered. I got shocked because I saw the girl from the restaurant with her. And walked towards my direction. She seated beside me. I can't concentrate because she's beside me. I'm looking at her using my peripheral view, and I can't help it.
Now that she's near me I got a chance to appreciate her beauty.
"Class dismissed" The girl stand up and quickly went out.
Dang! I haven't got a chance to ask her name. Anyway, I went out to and headed to the cafeteria. I didn't see those two idiots maybe they have something to do.
After I bought some food at the cafeteria I headed to my favorite spot. The rooftop.
When I got there, there's a back of a girl sitting on the trail. I slowly went near her and sit beside her. She's looking straightly.
"H-hi?" I stuttered as I get her attention. My jaws almost dropped as she looked directly at my eyes.
"Hi" she smiled at me.
"I'm Rodrigo, but you can call me Rod" I held my hand.
"I'm Ash, Ashley" and she gladly accept my hand. It's cold and soft. But I shrugged the idea.

And from that day we always eat together at the rooftop, I walk her to her home. In short we became close.

I'm in the cafeteria eating with Jasper and Andy because Ash isn't around.
"Rod are you okay?" Jasper asked out of the blue.
"Yes I am, I'm perfectly okay. Why?" I said weirdly.
"It's just that you've been talking by yourself since the first day. This question is weird , but are you crazy? Do you need help? A doctor perhaps?" Andy explained.
"Talking alone? I've been talking to Ashley, our new classmate." I said.
"Ashley? Who's that? As far I remember we don't have a classmate that named Ashley. Well in fact we actually don't have a new student" Jasper said.
"What? Guys come on don't kid around."
I said and sighing.
....
From that day I never had seen Ashley. I also asked some of my classmates if they know Ashley but they don't know her. It's freaking me out. And I'm starting to think what my friends said are true. That Ashley didn't actually exist.
Is it possible that I've been talking to a ghost or it's just my imagination?
