I fell for you (Victor x Yuri)

Chapter 9

~Victor~

Our lips were brushing against each other now. Then suddenly, Yuri scrambled back. I looked at him in shock. He was turned away from me, trembling a little. 

Yuri stood up. "We should head back" he said, not looking at me.

I was still surprised. "Uh...Yeah. Sure." 

I called Makkachin to come. He was covered in sand. Looks like someone is getting a good bath tonight. We started walking back to the resort.

While we were walking, I couldn't help but ask myself...

What did I do wrong?

~Yuri's POV~

It's too soon. Waaaay too soon. But why didn't I kiss him? He's nice, funny, and beautiful. So tell me why I didn't kiss him?! I'm so stupid sometimes. 

We reached the resort. I started to turned towards him, but decided against it. I can't look at his face right now. "D-do you need help cleaning Makkachin?" I asked,my voice a little rough.

"No, I have him. But thanks anyway" his voice a little off. 

"Well, there's soap an-" Victor cut me off.

"I have everything already. All I need is a hose." 

"Well it's 'round back."  Victor mumbled something in reponse and went on.

I went to my room, took a shower,  flopped on my bed, and laid there watching the sun go down. Soon it was dark.

"Hey, Yuri!" My mom called. "Come and eat!"

"I'm not hungry!" I called back. Immediately she came busting in my room.

"Are you okay? Are you sick? Why-"

I rolled my eyes. "I'm okay. I just don't wanna eat right now."

"Okay. I'll save your food, if you decide to eat later. I love you, Yuri. Goodnight."   Mom said still standing in the doorway with a concerned look.

"Love you, too. 'Night."

Mom closed the door. I heard her walk off after a second or so. Some hours went by. I finally got up to go eat. I looked at the clock. It was 11:07.

As I was walking out of my room, Victor was going in his. We made eye contact for what seemed like forever, then Victor turned away and went inside his room. I ran back in my room, slammed the door, and fell on my knees behind it. I started to cry. The stream of tears bought sobs. At first I didn't know why I was crying but now I know. It's because...

I love him.
