Steven's POV

I walked down the cobble stone streets of Paris through the large crowds of people in the cool night. My cheeks were blushing a tint of red as the cold wind kissed my cheeks and ran its fingers through my hair. I was searching for a gift that I could get for Kevin. A gift to show my gratitude and love to him.

He had set up this big trip to Paris for us to spend more time with each other. It was so sweet of him! I literally could not stop hugging and kissing him that night when he told me! So in order the repay him back, I would go out and buy him a gift that would say 'I love you' and 'thanks'.

I ventured down the streets further more and spotted the perfect ideal gifts for my boyfriend. I walked into the little shop and picked out the items. I then went up to the cashier as she scanned my gifts.

"That will be 15 Euros," said the cashier with a thick French accent.

She bagged the gifts and handed them to me. I strolled out of the store and was on my way back to the hotel to see my Kevin.

Kevin's POV

I finished preparing the room that I had set up for Steven and I. Turning off the lights in both the bedroom suite and the bathroom, I light the small vanilla scented candles. I set them in different areas of the huge bathroom and opened the curtains and window behind the large Victorian bathtub. Thankfully there were no clouds in the sky to block the view of the stars and not very strong winds. I sighed as I took in the amazing.

I then realized Steven would be home soon from shopping and gathered the basket of rose pedals. I went out into the bedroom and left a trail of rose pedals across the cream colored carpet from the room door leading up to the bathroom door. I tossed more petals onto the bathroom floor and set the basket down on the sink counter.

Starting up a warm bath with foaming soap, I stripped myself of my clothes. I stopped the water as soon as the bath was full and tossed more rose petals into the foam bath. I smiled at my creation, knowing the Steven would adore it, and climbed into the soothing water and waited for my Steven to get back.

"I was going to do it tonight. I was going to propose to Steven after 3 years of being together. Tonight was the night," I thought looking at the left pocket of my skinny that lied on the floor that contained the box.

Steven's POV

I finally reached the hotel room and opened the door with my key. I was surprised to see all the lights off and rose petals leading to the bathroom door. The glowing light in the bathroom had caught my attention as I decided that I would go check it out. I set the bag down and tossed my coat and scarf on the king-sized bed.

As soon as I entered the bathroom, I was at awe at the beauty of it all. Rose petals covered the floor and the counter top, small candles were lit and set near sink and on the window seal. There was a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower with the stars and the moon in the sky outside the window too. Then I saw my Kevin in the tub, smiling at me. I guess he liked the reaction he got out of me.

"Come in here with me, babe," he said to me.

I nodded while smiling as I took my clothes off and tossed them in the corner with his clothes. I climbed in, laying back against his chest.

"Kev, I don't know what to say. You did a beautiful job," I said, letting my eyes close and my head resting into the nape of his neck.

"I'm glad you like it," Kevin whispered lightly kissing my left ear.

We both stayed like this for ten or fifteen minutes, soaking up the warm scented bath and giving each other kisses. Eventually, we both got out of the tub and dried ourselves off. After getting dressed, Kevin and I blew out the candles and drained the bath water.

"Oh! Kev, I have a gift for you," I cheerfully said as we stepped out of the bathroom. I went over to my shopping bag and took out the items.

"Close your eyes," I giggled.

He did so and I walked over to him. I pecked him sweetly on the lips and he opened his eyes. I pulled back and wrapped a bracelet around his wrist. he looked back at me with love and slight confusion.

"It's a French braided bracelet. I got two for both me and you so we could match," I chuckled, handing Kevin a white rose.

"It's beautiful, Steven," he said before our lips met again, kissing with more love.

Kevin pulled away I look at me with so much love and comfort. He helped me put on my bracelet and held my hands in his.

"Steven I have something to tell you," Kevin said, slightly nervous.

"What is it, babe," I asked a little worriedly.

"We have been together for three years now. During those three years, I learned much more meaning to love when I'm with you. I enjoyed all the wonderful moments I have spent with you. I honestly love every single thing about you. your soft brown hair, your beautiful complexion, and your sparkling brown eyes. I couldn't imagine the rest of my life without you. And I hope I can spend the rest of my life with you," Kevin said, looking at me with love written all over his face.

My eyes began to fill up tears from Kevin's wonderful speech. I knew what was coming next.

"Steven, will you marry me?," he asked, bending down on one knee and opening up a box the contained a silver ring.

"Of course," I said with tears falling from my eyes.

Kevin put the wrong on my finger and I pulled him up into a tight hug. He lifted my chin up with his finger and kissed me passionately.

I couldn't wait to spend the rest of my life my lover...
