Chapter 11: Battle at The Canalave Gym!

Me: Alright lets do this!

The sun began to rise as I had sprung out if my bed super hyped up "Alright today is the day we get out Canalave City Gym Badge!"

Mana started to wake up rubbing her eye "I'm glad I don't have to battle today, I'm really tired." 

About 30 minutes later ...

I walked the Pokemon Center stretching with Pikachu doing the same thing on my shoulders.

Mana, Leaf, and Dakota walked out the Pokemon Center, Dakota walked next to me smiling "Are you ready for your gym battle today?"

I smiled giving Dakota a thumbs up "You bet I am! Garchomp, Kakorat and Lopunny are ready as well!"

Hey! Just like the morning sun thats shining brightly over Sinnoh. (Our burning hearts are hotter than a flame charge!)

Yeah! We're all prepared and so you'll never see us run from chaos. (Breaking the mold will let our passion Discharge)

All of our feelings overlap, yeah we are always synchronized.
Cause we formed a bond that will never disappear
And I know that I will never shed a tear
As long as you're here (wowowo yeah yeah!)

So let'Z go! We're growing as the battle's raging on
And you know! That defeat's an opportunity
To grow! We're never giving up
Our determination is what makes us strong
Yeah determination is what makes us strong!

Now let'Z go! We will fulfill this dream with all we have
So let'Z go! And we'll prove that we can catch them all!
Let'Z go! Keep fighting with your heart
And you're certain that your future will be bright
When you see yourself transcend to unknown heights, yeah!

So! Let'Z turn it up now (Shock them like a Thunderbolt)
Go! Keep standing tall and if we're fighting as a team, stronger than a Hyper Beam, we will be surpassing our dreams!

We walked to the Canalave City Gym not before passing a boy with purple hair with his hands in his pockets, the second I passed him it felt like everything slowed down as we both looked at each other for a split second before we walked our separate ways.

We had arrived the Canalave Gym "Alright lets do this." I walked up to the gyms door before pushing it open and walked to the battlefield seeing the gym leader but he seemed to be talking to someone who looked familiar.

I squinted my eyes trying to make out the persons identity "Wait is that ... Roark?"

Roark had stopped talking when he noticed us and smiled "Well dad looks like you have a new challenger today."

Byron turned around looking at me holding his shovel "Well it seems that your right."

I held ny hands out "Wait, wait, wait, take two steps back, did you just call him your dad?"

Roark chuckled "Yep, being a gym leader and loving fossils runs in the family."

"I can see that, anyway Byron I'm here for my 6th badge!"

Byron grinned "If its a battle you want then its a battle your gonna get! I hope your ready because this battle is gonna get DEFENSIVE!"

I smiled and held up a pokeball "I'm ready for anything!" I walked to my side of the battlefield with Pikachu and Airalin while Dakota and Leaf went to sit in the stands to watch the battle.
