Zane's POV
There was only the snow and the grey sky above me. This was the place people called heaven? I thought. There was a low growl that came from behind me. I turned around and prepared for battle. " who's there?"
*Only you and me.* The voice called back.
" I suppose, but who are you?"
A creature appeared from the snowy fog. A snow leopard with bright blue eyes like mine, and it's patterned coat glistening in the snow. *I am a part of you, I am what many call a spirit animal.* she growled softly.
" My spirit animal?"
*Yes, this is the first time we have met, but I have always been watching you, Zane, but now that your life on Earth, and here we are.*
" Maybe, but my mission isn't done yet. I need to save my friends, I fear as if they will fall away and even now they are falling. Dark times will come, and they need my support! Please you must give me a chance to get back to them!" I yelled, frustrated and confused.
The snow leopard purred softly wrapping her long tail around my legs. *I understand your pain, Zane..Do you understand where you are?*
I looked at her and shook my head. " My system can't compute it." I stated.
Her eyes flickered, *This place is either heaven nor hell...think of it as a purgatory. This place allows you to enter into the place of the living and fix your wrongs, mend the broken ends, and maybe a chance to say goodbye. Also a time to find those you have lost, make amends to your dead loved ones.* she whispered.
I immediately thought of Pixal, my Father...Sensei, Jay and the others. " So I can get another chance?"
The snow leopard looked at me with blue eyes. *Yes...yes you can...and I'll be with you every step of the way. I am your guide through your purgatory, your journey to find peace.*she placed her paw in front of me. I looked at her, and smiled. I grab her paw and suddenly I feel all of my powers join into hers and now I felt one with her.
" Kori.."
She smiled, * My name has made itself known to you, and now shall we begin our journey.*
" Lead the way."
