My Baby You'll Be (Laurmani)

The Latina had been laying there for at least thirty minutes now, wide awake. She only had a good three hours of sleep and she realized that as soon as she reached to check the time on her phone seeing it was 8:30 am and they went to bed at 5 something. But was she complaining? No. Last night was was the best night of her life. Followed closely by prom night and Normani and her first time.

Getting Normani back was all she truly craved since the night the brown girl left. As these thoughts rambled through her head she shook it lightly at the fact that she was so obsessed with this girl. All of her favorite moments had something to do with Normani.

What had woke her up was the sun glaring in from the curtain less windows. Which reminded her of something.. they were going shopping for the apartment today...or their apartment today. And a small smile washes over her face as he laid staring at Normani.

They had disconnected through out the night but that always happened whenever they would sleep together because Lauren moved around a lot in her sleep. Normani would try to hold on but always Lauren would roll over. Some nights when Normani really needed to be held in order to stay asleep she would just climb on top of Lauren and sleep as if the Latina was her mattress. This is why the absence of Lauren was so hard over those two years when they faded away. Lauren touching her, holding her at night helped her get through rough nights which she usually had. Before Lauren, Normani's mother reading to her My Baby You'll be was the only thing that could put Normani to sleep and holding her Lo bear.

The brown girl shuffled and smacked her lips a few times causing Lauren's already smiling face to grow wider. She looked like sleeping beauty. Her curls were slightly covering her face and because of her parted lips some was inside. Lauren chuckled softly and reached to swipe the hair away.

But that was a mistake because with the hair gone it showed Normani's beautiful face in its entirety. Now she wanted her woke so she could see that perfect smile. But on the other hand she just was excited about spending the day shopping for the apartment with her.

"Baby, wake up" she spoke softly, brushing her hand over Normani's face and through her hair.

In response Normani just shuffled a bit more and squinted her eyes shut tighter. Lauren knew Normani wasn't a heavy sleeper at all, the smallest of sounds could wake her up. That's why most nights were so rough for her.

"Mani, get up!"

"What? Whaaat?" She groaned lightly, rolling over to face the other direction but Lauren grabbed her shoulder stopping her.

"Wake up. Aren't you exited baby?" Lauren leaned in and nuzzled her neck. Normani felt Lauren's grin and even though she was tired her lips quirked into a smile as well. She definitely was excited.

She shuffled a bit and blinked her eyes open, only to be met by the widest smile in the world. "Good morning beautiful"

"You dork" Normani giggled as she wiped last nights sleep out of her own eyes.

Lauren giggled as well as redness creeped up on her face, indicating the blush. She swiped one hand through her hair before leaning in to place a gentle kiss on Normani's lips.

They both fluttered their eyes open once their lips disconnected and Lauren's green ones gazed into the brown orbs across from her "I like this" she whispered.
