Chapter 7

I bit my lip. I didn't know if I should tell her of what we really were or if I should tell her what I was planning for us to be.

"Well... um, we're.... we're friends. Best friends" I answered which wasn't entirely a lie. It just broke me a little knowing she didn't remember. Just a little. Excuse me while I cry inside.

"Oh, we're best friends? Is that what this necklace is for? For friendship?" Chara asked.

'No it's for more than tha-' "yep, that's right" I answered before my thoughts got the better of me and smiled. She shrugged.

"Well, what am I meant to do now? As in, what do you want me to do?" She asked.

"Well, I guess I better bring you home... Oh! And I need to tell Asriel and Goat mom that you're ok!" I said remembering. It's a shame she can't remember though.

"Asriel? Goat....mom...?" Chara asked, confused. "Who are they?"

"You'll see, though they maaay be... well, unsettled at first. Since, well they know you're the red eyed demon and part of their family... well, you used to never like violence until.... nevermind..." I explained. She nodded as if she understood.

♡Chara's POV♡
My plan was going perfectly. Better tell mother though... she'll think I got unlucky and she'll punish me. Well, when she hears this plan she's gonna be so proud of me, maybe she'll even free me! Who knows?

"Hey Frisk? How long do you think I'll be staying here?" I asked. Hopefully not too long... but...

"Not too long I don't think. I'm not really sure. I'll ask later" he said. "So I guess I could show you where you'll be staying"

"Ok then" I answered. He looked at me with an expression I couldn't quite read. He looked like he was sad... or maybe... regretful? Or maybe it was sympathy. Did he feel sorry for me? Why?! I didn't need his sympathy!

I... I couldn't trust him yet. My mother told me that this was the enemy's way of luring their prey. I couldn't let my guard down just because of his wonderful smile and his kind gaze and... wait wait wait a minute! What was I thinking?!

"Chara?" Frisk asked. "Are you ok? You kinda spaced out for a moment"

"Huh?" I asked as I turned to him. "Yeah, sorry"

"No need to apologise, come on" He grinned and pulled me towards a room with the name Asriel on it.

"Hey slow down!" I called. He just grinned.
