Chapter 1. The beginning
(Past) I really don't remember why this happened or how it began. I was only 13 years old at the time. I had a perfectly good life. I had the perfect body the amazing girl the good grades everything was perfect. Until one day after soccer practice the government announced on TV that it was shutting down . I remember that day like it was yesterday it was a sunny Wednesday the sun shining it was awfully quiet for Milwaukee, WI.
I remember my coach saying some shit about the government I really did pay attention I was fooling around talking to my friends.Then he said we would end practice early and we should go home.....
I arrived at my house in 15 minutes.I park my bike outside and locked the chain.Then my back pocket started vibrating it was a iPhone 5s I begged my parents for month's to get it I was really good at persuasive people.There was a notification about the government.There was a red alert on my phone saying alert alert the government is shutting down t-minus 3 days till shut down.
Then suddenly my dad appeared and took me to the basement and lock the door behind me my mom and uncle was there.They room was full of can food and packs of water and some knives and a bat
"What the hell going on I said" I said.
"the government is shutting down and their no law to restrain the people for doing crazy shit" said my uncle tommy.
"May good help us all" my dad said
"We need to get our food" said my mom
"We need fucken guns and get the fuck out of here" yelled my uncle
"There no need to yell Tomas" said my dad
I want to speak but I couldn't find the words in me to say them out loud.My hands and feet were shaking I sat down
And but my head to my knee.
"You ok" said my uncle
"Yeah just need to rest" I said I finally found the words to speak.
"We'll they be plenty if time to do that when you die " said my uncle
"Thomas said my mom we will get through this together" said my mom protecting me
" I don't need you help mom I'm old enough to defend myself " I said

Chapter 2. The hangover

Staying up to late playing xbox 360.My stomach was normal for kids I didn't have fat or a noticeable 6 packs either.
My Skin was making it noticeable that I'm a Mexican.Then I said to myself " i'm Luis Sanchez a 13 year kid who Mexicans and spend to much time in himself and not others.
I put on my soccer pants and my white shirt on. I also put my glasses on even though I don't need them I still put then on. I quickly ran toward the kitchen and put my waffles In the toaster I also made myself chocolate milk. The bong sound came out and scared me. I had I few message put mostly from my girlfriend and my BFF since k-4 .I completely forget about them.
