Willow
"Get out now, Little slut" Screamed the blonde from the corner of the room holding her prominent baby bump,I did not spare either of the two people in the room a glance as I grabbed my bag and coat. Running for the door I ignoring the stares from other colleagues and let my feet take me to my car.
Once settled inside my old Chevy I stared at myself in the mirror attached to my car, What had I got myself into? My blonde hair fell out its side bun and my blue eyes were full of tears,I eventually let the tears that threatened to spill fall down my face,Questions built up in my head. How did I manage to get so caught up in my imagination to realise having a relationship with my boss would work? How did I not know he was married? Let alone having a baby.
Sobs came out as I tried to start the truck, My body shaking against the keys. A knock at the window took me out of my thoughts. Stood with a crease in his forehead was my only friend in this little town, Logan Sady.
"Open the door Willow" He said loudly from outside the car, The doors all locked so he couldn't enter. I shook my head and rested it against the steering wheel and continued to cry.
"Sweet Jesus girl, Open the goddamn door and let me take you home to cry" He said knocking on the window again. I looked at him, my mascara sliding down my cheeks destroying what was left of my daily make-up.
I took the keys out of the ignition and opened the door, It wasn't even 5 seconds before I was pulled out of my seat into two strong arms and I cried.
"Let's get you home" I nodded,Too tired to argue with him and sat in the passenger side of my truck as Logan started up the engine.

Soon after we arrived at the small apartment I had been renting for the past 4 months I was here, I went straight into my room to change. I heard the clanking sound of cups in the kitchen as I walked through the small apartment and found Logan making us both a drink. I smiled at him "Thank you" He gave me a smile and winked at me.
"You'd be lost without my drink making" I giggled and took the drink off him walking into the front room.
"Want to tell me what happened?" I sighed and stared at the wall opposite where I sat.
"I screwed him, A Lot... the son of a bitch had a wife and a baby on the way" I gave a dry laugh and took a sip out of my hot drink.
I heard him mumble a couple curse words, my head was all over the place. I knew without a doubt my job was most definitely not secure,My only source of income.
"Will leave by next week,Give Mr Salt the last monthly payment for this place and hop into my next adventure" Logan turned to me with wide eyes.
"You can't leave Low!" I gave him a small smile and a kiss to the cheek.
"I have to Logan" he cursed again which I gave him a disapproving look.
I watched him as he sat forward his tattooed arms making an appearance, my heart fluttered a little at the sudden movement. Saying Logan was gorgeous was an understatement. He stood just over 6"4, his hair was a dark brown which swayed over to one side when he moved. He was naturally tanned and was blessed with beautiful blue eyes and a southern twang in his voice that made panties around the town melt.
We met a few months ago when I drove into town only planning on passing by. My trucks tire went just as I made it and Logan was working at the garage who helped, We bonded instantly. Logan was ultimately my life saver, He knew I was from out of town and we hit off when he spoke making me know instantly he was too.
Logan set me up as a cleaner for the local Solicitors building across the road from the garage and helped me get a lease on a apartment.
Logan was the only person who understood what I was like and he never pressured me into telling him who I was and what happened for me to come to town. He just knew I needed time,
"Let me help you?" He said softly, putting a hand on my leg.
I shook my head, "I need to do this on my own" I walked into the kitchen and grabbed the bottle of wine and pouring myself a glass.
"My family live down state in Fairhope Alabama, I can give my brother a call to see if there's any jobs going and you can stay there for a while till you get yourself back on your feet?" He looked at me pointedly I just stared at him...
"Only till I get back on my feet" He smiled at my response and gave me a soft kiss to the cheek.
"You won't regret it Low, I promise now go put your feet up and down the bottle of wine whilst I go get our take away" I smiled at him and sat down, This was a good decision.
I hope.
