I walk up to her door, I stop looking at her doorbell. Taking a deep breath I push up my glasses. I look at my shoes making sure their clean and tied. Taking one more deep breath I knock on her door. Its a few seconds and someone answers. Its her, and she looks beautiful. Her black floral dress looks amazing with her matching pastel pink cardigan. Her black flats look great with her legs. Her hair is still damp from a shower. It looks amazing as it falls around her face in it's beautiful waves and curls. She looks me in the eyes, "Hey!" She smiles stepping out closing the door. I smile at her as she adjusts her glasses.
"Is it okay if we walk? Its not far from here." I lead her down the steps and try to fuck anything up. "Yeah, thats fine." I beam a smile at her. "Great! let's go." I take her hand as i lead her down the street.
"Where are you taking me?" she chuckles out. "You will see, we are almost there." I turn and look at her. She doesn't notice how i'm studying her beautiful smiley face. How I take in the way her little dimples make her even cuter. I look forward noticing that we made it. "OMG IS THIS WHAT WE ARE DOING!" she says filled with excitement. "Yeah." I chuckle a smile at her. "Well come on!" She tightens the grip on my hand and pulls me behind her. I didn't expect there to be this much excitement over a little bookstore. She pulls me inside and stops. The inside of the little bookstore is not so little. It's huge, more like a book mine. She laughs a little, "SMH so many books, i cant."
She pulls me around the store. After about an hour or two i am able to pull her out. "Okay, cum with me." i smile pulling her to my side as i walk. "Wait, there is more?" she looks at me in awe. "Well yeah. I thought we could go on a walk to watch the sunset." I shyly say rubbing my neck in hopes that she approves. "That sounds really really nice." She smiles grabbing my arm and leaning her head on my shoulder. Smiling, i lean my head slightly on hers.
We stop a few times to take some polaroids of the sunset and each other. We make it to the park just as it the stars start to come out. "Okay," I turn to her, "Close your eyes." I smile. "You better not fuck me you dick." She says with a smile closing her eyes. "Don't act like you don't want it." I laugh taking her hand. I lead her into the park. I stop at a blanket and basket that are laid out. It's over looking a lake. Now the stars are all out and and the light pollution is low. The sky is lit up with the moon and stars.
"okay, you can open them." I turn to face her as she opens her eyes. I watch her study the scene. I nervously watch her eyes. Somehow they end up on me. Her face is emotionless. "OMG YOU DONT LIKE It! I should have know. i'm sorry." I say looking down regretting even planning this. "What! No, no, no. This is great. You need to stop, smh." she chuckles over the last part. I look up at her, "For real? You like it?" I ask nervously. "Yeah, now i'm hungry, it seems you brought food." She pulls me to the blanket and pushes me down onto it. Chuckling i reach to grab the basket of food but she sits rit on me. "Come on! Do you want food or not babe?" i squeak out between laughs. "Yeah but i want to sit on you more." She wraps her arms around me and puts her head on my chest. "Fine but get the food" i say pointing to the, now, unreachable basket.
"What do you like about the universe?" She turns her head as she asks me. I don't think twice i just take a deep breath, "Well first off, your in it. That's all i need." I turn to her but she turns away. "Stop blushing you nerd." i chuckle grabbing her hand. She puts her head on my chest. "No but for real." She whispers keeping her eyes on the sky. "I am being for real." i smile placing a kiss on the top of her head. "Okay scientifically then." She rolls her eyes. "Okay well the fact that we don't actually know what's out there. there are endless possibilities or realities and worlds and demotions. Not to mention the crazy science and math. There is just so much going on and the possibilities are so endless and crazy. Not to mention the fact of how hard it is to grasp half the stuff in it." i say. I stop and look down at her. Looking back up i continue into what, probably sounds like nonsense to her. Trailing off onto time travel yet somehow bringing it back to the universe.
"Babe there is a swing set, wanna go swing?" i ask after i finish my 30 minutes of rambling about space and science. I get no answer. I look down to find the girl curled up in a ball, head on my chest, sleeping. I Smile and start to play with her hair softly, as too not wake her.
"MS.JACKSON MS.JACKSON MS.JACKSON ARE YOU NASTY!" my goes off. "Shit" i mumble reaching to grab it to see who it is. It's Kell. She is probably with Jackie. They probably think we are like done or something. Annoyed, I answer it. "I can't talk." i quickly say. All i hear is laughter and then the phone goes dead. "Wh-Who was that?" i hear a tired little voice squeak out. I look down, Brittany is awake. "Sorry to wake you, it was just Kale and Jackie being assholes." I start to play with her hair. "Oh, lol." She sits up and takes a a small bite of the cake i had made. "There are swings down closer to the lake." I say feeling really awkward and nervous. She gets up quickly and grabs my arm, pulling me up. She runs, dragging me behind her. "Come on! let's go swing!" She says this with the excitement of a five year old.
Once we get on the swings i'm all smiles. She looks over at me, "Why are you smiling so much?" she chuckles out starting to try and swing higher than me. "Seeing you happy makes me happy because i want you too be happy." i say going twice as high as she is now. "You're cute." she says slightly loud as she starts to try really hard to go higher than me. Looking her in the eyes, i jump off. I, luckily, land in my feet. Yet i do almost fall over, but i didn't some how. "Oh, i see how it is, you're trying to act all cooler than me." She laughs jumping off her swing too. only instead of landing on her feet, she lands on me.
"Get off me you dirty rat." i laugh out pushing her off me. "You're the dirty rat." I get up quickly, "I heard that rats swim like dogs, let's see how you swim. i grab her quickly, and carry her to the edge of the lake. "OMG NO PLEASE," She yells threw the buckets of laughter that fill her body, "SMH I SWEAR TO GOD YOU RAT!" I go to take a step closer to the lake and my foot hits a rock. i fall with her in my arms i to the lake. "smh babe, look what you made me do." i say coming up, now fully in the lake. "Well it's because you called me a dirty rat." She laughs swimming over to me. "Don't jump on me then." I laugh back taking off my, now, soaking wet shirt and pants.
I then proceed too take off my shoes and throw them onto the land by the lake. "lol what are you doing?" She asks watching me strip down. "They can start to dry some so when i get out they will be dryer and it won't be as bad." I shrug as i start to float on my back.
I soon stand back up to check on Beatrice. She hasn't said a thing in a few minutes and i worry too much. To my surprise, she had taken off her dress and shoes as well. "Oh. I didn't think you would follow what i do." i squint my eyes slightly at her. She chuckles a little walking closer to me. "Come here." she says quietly. I slowly take a few steps closer to her. I get a closer look at her eyes. They are a beautiful shade of hazelnut that shines just perfectly in the moon light. "yes?" i whisper to her, we are now inches, no centimeters apart. She slowly starts to bring her hand up to the side of my face. As we look into each other's eyes, she backs up and grabs my glasses quickly.
"YOU BITCH! GIVE THEM BACK! I NEED THEM!" i yell running after her. She runs out of the water and towards our basket and blankets. I quickly chase after her, wanting my glasses to see. I soon catch up with her and take her into a warm, yet wet, embrace. I place my head on her shoulder, "Give me back my eyes please." i whisper directly into her ear. as i pull my head away, i lightly bite her ear. i then quickly turn her around and grab my glasses back. As i put them back onto my face i look her in the eyes with a smirk. Chuckling, she breaks free from my grasp and runs. I chase her back into the lake. She abruptly stops and i run into her. "Hey watch out you troll." she says turning around. "So i got promoted from dirty rat to troll, nice. And by the worlds cutest nerd. I like that." I smile and grab her waist and pull her closer.
After many chases, i finally had her for sure. i wrapped her up in one of the blankets i brought and carried her with me to pick up our clothes down by the lake. When we get back to the basket, i lay her down and wrap myself in a blanket and lay beside her, looking up at the stars.
About an hour later we arrive at my house. Brittany is really sleepy, so i let her stay over. i open my bedroom door for her to find Kale sleeping on the floor. I let Brittany go to my bed as i pick up kale and carry her downstairs to the couch. i throw her down onto it. "really Kell." i say rolling my eyes at her sleeping body before turning around to go help Beatrice back in my room.
