"Oh, I didnt expect to see you here!" I was startled by the sight of my father on the roof.
"I heard some noises and went to check." He coughed out.
"Really? From downstairs?" I asked.
"Heh, you're right. I just wanted to see the stars before Christmas night. I had to sneak out of bed, or else I'd wake Lillith up." He admitted.
"So, what's mom's real name Lillian or Lillith?" I had always wondered that, but every time I ask it's the same answer.
"You'll never know kid. You'll die not knowing, but don't worry no else knows either. Just your mother." He said.
"Everyone else's lights seem so beautiful."I admired the beautiful glowing sight, because I'd only see it 'til the end of the week when everyone starts getting ready for New Years.
"So are ours! They're the most creative! It follows the beat of the song playing!"Boasted my dad. (That part I got off my music teacher, I've seen her Christmas lights before. If you change your radio to 81.1 her lights flash on and off accordingly to the beat of the song. It's super pretty!)
I chuckled, "You're right."
We sat there admiring the million beautiful glowing stars. Their lights shone down on us, and I could shadows everywhere. I could already imagine tomorrow. We had invited our only friends over. Of course, that being Cartoonz, Delirious, Nini,and Jay.

Nini was inhaling and exhaling, she enjoyed the cold, because she could see her breath. We were rushing over to Bryce's home, but yet again being careful not to drop our sugar cookies with Christmas things drawn on them. Nini, my mother, father, and I spent hours working on them. My parents had agreed to let me have Christmas in Bryce's home, but after that was done we had to return to celebrate with them. I looked over at Nini, who was carrying about a million Christmas bags.

Jay got ready to knock on the door. He knocked his fist against the big, brown door. We were greeted with a few cookies.
"Take a cookie," Said Bryce's father. I reached in, but he swiftly swiped them, "But before you do, look up."
I raised my head and realized what it was. I dropped my head. Jay smiled and stepped closer. He gave a quick peck on the lips and turned back ro face Bryce's father.
"Alright take one, please do." He said offering one.

John and I were racing to Bryce's house. Whoever got there last had to get buried in snow. Heh, I am so winning this! Jonathan is an idiot thinking he could beat me! My thoughts were trailed off by the feels of pain shooting down my body. I raised my head.
"HEY! Jonathan you cheater! You have to wait for me!" I shouted.
"No way buddy! Your lost!" He shouted back.
I rushed up onto my feet and ran.
