Two years after the Gonderentians attacked Earth. Peace has filled the lands around everyone. People now lived like they have before.
But things were still not perfect. Some people spread rumors about dragons coming, another attack by Gonderentians, or that the world was going to end. Many Just laughed it off, others readying for the time.
Life was now simple for Derek and Ciri, only they needed to form the Knight of the Nine again. Get more able bodies. Nobody wanted to join, that was common.
"Times like this could've never been better." Derek said to Ciri as they walked down the street in Daleville.
Daleville was a second camp for the Knights, small and hidden. Holding around 100 - 300 people. The rulership was taken by Derek, now that he was the longest leader for the Knights.
Ciri sighed a small disbelief cry. She was worried, she feared somthing that Derek could not sense. He could feel it, but couldn't place his finger on it.
The sun broke to the two moons. They returned to the base, filling their bellies with pork chop. After they finished, Ciri lit up candles to give light in the room. Derek relaxed his feet up on a table.
Then it went quiet, too queit. A loud knocking on the door blew the sound. Derek walked over and twitched his hand to unlock the door. It was a man, he'd seen before. Twas his brother; Claiborne.
"Greetings brother."
"Claiborne? What the hell are you doin' here?"
"It'd be best to speak away from the crowd I've drew." He looked back and people smothered close by.
"Of course." Derek held his hand out and slammed the door shut.
He set up a chair and sat down. He drank a bottle of strong ale, chugging it down. Claiborne wolfed down a left-over pork chop.
"Now tell me, why'd you come here?" Derek asked, lighting the area around them.
"Danger."
"Where?"
"Lemont. Whole city's stirred up in shit they can't handle. Someone is gonna fuck up this world, someone you know." Claiborne looked down at his plate.
"Jake?"
"Jake?"
"Yeah, the Darkness. He was its slave."
"The Darkness. World's most hell-born being to ever roam. Jake is not yet dead then if I still feel his energy." Claiborne said.
Derek lit up his pipe and puffed some weed. Claiborne closed his eyes and chugged down his last drop of ale. His eyes popped open and he opened his mouth but no sound came out.
Claiborne was choking on his own breath. Derek threw his chair back and was panicing, he pulled out his dagger and slit a hole in Claiborne's throat.
Blood began pouring out and Claiborne gave in to the choking. Derek was forced back by a gust of wind. Derek watched in awe as black air began flowing out of the dead man's mouth.
Derek awoke to the sound of a horse eating. He found himself laying in the stables. He was questioning what had happened.
"How?" Derek asked the horse above.
Derek shook off his stupid question to the horse and got out of the shoot. There were three boys and two girls just laughing at him.
He shot them all a stank eye and they began to stop laughing.
"Um, s-sir... there is a DRAGON!" One of the boys yelled.
Derek threw himself back and saw nothing he looked back and the kids were running laughing. He shook that off too.
Three guard men came out of the stable hut with a little girl. Derek stood back and watched as the guards began strangling her.
Derek ran and stomped the man's arm and broke it. The other watched and stroke his sword against Derek's face. Blood began slowly pouring down his cheek.
