A few hours had passed now and the tension in the room was unbearable. For me, anyway. I could basically hear how everyone was feeling, Abbie’s head was full of frustration and anger spilling across the room, David’s was dark and empty which was slightly unnerving. Abbie hadn’t spoken to me since after what had happened, neither had David. They were just sitting there. Both glancing at each other when they thought I wasn’t looking as if they knew something I didn’t. And they did. David still hadn’t told me what had bitten me and to be honest I really didn’t want to know, I just wanted it to go away, all of this. I couldn’t take it anymore, I jumped up from the floor where I had been sitting and ran for the doorway, pulling on the handle I was surprised to find it open. I ran as fast as I could out of the room, David was shouting my name but the door slammed shut behind me i carried on running and didnt stop.
‘Where did she go??!’ David shouted banging on the door.
‘Oh just let me get my crystal ball out.’ Abbie replied sarcastically.
‘Oh shut up. I know it was you that bit her! I know what you are! I can feel it. She just couldn’t because she is too dumb! All that stupid physic hearing has messed up her head!’
‘Oh so you think she’s dumb?’
‘What?! No! I didn’t mean to say that!’
‘Well you did.’ Abbie shrugged. David narrowed his eyes and began punching the door.
‘Yeah. That’s it. Punch the door. ‘Cus that’s gunna help.’
David span ran, ‘SHUT UP! THIS IS ALLYOUR FAULT!’
Abbie laughed, ‘No, it’s yours. I mean, you didn’t really protect her from me did you? You knew what I was as soon as you entered the room didn’t you. But you let me hurt her. So she’s gone. She has gone David.’
‘No.’ David sank to the floor hugging his knees. ‘No!’ Leaning his head back he closed his eyes sighing. Abbie walked towards him, sitting down she rested her head on his shoulder. David pushed her away.
‘Do not touch me.’
Abbie smiled, stood up. ‘Watch this.’
David shook his head.
‘Watch. This!’
Reluctantly he looked up, to see Abbie transform into a wolf, right in front of his eyes. David stood up fast, but the wolf sprang into action and pinned him against the wall. David punched it but it was just too strong.
‘Don’t bother.’ It growled.
‘Abbie. Abbie I know you are in there.’
‘There is no Abbie anymore, I own her body!’
‘No. Abbie, Abbie!!!!’
‘SHUT UP!’ The wolf ran its sharp claw across David’s cheek, scratching him. He cringed and tried to break free.
‘Now.’ Growled the wolf. ‘You know what wolfs really, reeeaaaaally hate? Vampires.’ It chuckled. ‘Say goodbye vamp.’
‘Leave him alone!’ I screamed, running through the door. It was unlocked. ‘Get off of him!!!’ I began to pull at the wolf trying to free David. With one whack I was on the floor but I jumped up determined.
‘GET OFF OF HIM!’
‘Don’t Billie!’ Shouted David. ‘It’s too strong!’
The wolf twisted its neck round to laugh at me, looking back at David it bared its teeth. I looked around hopeless, seeing one thing that might help me I grabbed it and whacked the wolf over the head as hard as I could. It fell to the floor, I stood there shaking, the chair in my hands. David looked down at it, as it turned back into Abbie. I gasped and began to cry. Tears softly rolling down my cheeks, as I realized who it was, and who had bitten me earlier. Abbie’s head was bleeding, and she wasn’t moving.
‘H-heal her. David. Please.’ I sobbed.
He shook his head. ‘No, you saw what it did to you.’
‘It!? It is Abbie and she needs our help! Heal her! Heal her David!’
He looked at me, sighing he knelt down and healed her. But he body laid limp on the floor, i began to cry harder.
‘Ive killed her. No! What have I done!’ I began to pull at my hair, holding my head, kicking anything that was near me. David grabbed hold of me but I pushed him off.
‘Devil. Devil! DEVIL! YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE THAT CAN SAVE HER! PLEASE. Please.’ David held my arm. ‘GET OFF ME DAVID! I sat next to Abbie, my tears landing on her bloody matted hair. ‘Devil.’
