" August you need to leave " Shawn said

" Pretty I'm not worried about that whatever happened with y'all  is your business. I hurt you and you were single i cant be mad and it brought you back to me and Pretty I thought I had lost you forever . Let's go get some dinner your looking to good for me not to feed you "

" Come on the reservations are for 8" He opened my door and helped me into the car . we made it to this restaurant called sundial where the restaurant rotates around the city we got seated the view was beautiful .

" Table for two Williams "

" right this way sir "

He had his hand on the small of my back and walked with me to our table .

" Would you like a drink " he asked me

" Yes " the waiter came

" What kind of drinks would you like " he asked

" Cabernet Sauvign " I said

" Its only 60 but its really good " I  said

" oh if it would have been that 5,000 dollar bottle "

" You can afford it "

" yeah but its a waste of money " he  said

" I know . what's good here " I asked him

" I heard everything is I have never been here this is my first time "

" let's skip the small talk how did you fumble the ball last Sunday "

" I don't know I had it then I didn't it was tragic . I'm happy it didn't cost us the game though "

The waiter took our order and the food came . I got the duck Shepard's pie and he got a steak . I was eating his food

" Shawn don't be stingy "

" You got your own food woman "

" Shawn yours is better though "

" Man pretty you so greedy " he said

We went dancing . he spun me around .

I watched them dance in the club while I sipped on my drink I don't know why the fuck I was jealous . I don't even be pressed over a bitch like that .  I see why Shawn crazy over her . She touch your soul in the bedroom , in the kitchen and she's a beautiful person in general . she is a great mother . she made me wanna put a baby in her to trap her . I wasn't stalking her we just ended up at the same club . she looked beautiful . they ended up leaving

3am

" August you can't call me this late "

" What you must be cuddled up with Shawn " I said

" August you had your chance but you blew it so don't call me with that "

" I said I was sorry "

" And I forgive you but I'm not letting you get me again "

" Can I come over for a little while " I asked

" Its late " she said

" Let me just see you then "

" No but we can talk tomorrow its to late tonight "

The next day

She came over to my.house . She had on yoga pants and a tank top .

" Hey ma "

" What's so important august ?"

" I'm sorry alright . "

I took her and the kids to the movies to see that new disney movie . Bella is a daddy's girl . I was carrying her while.Sj and Pretty walked together . he's four he swear he's a big boy . Pretty was looking good in her pink Ralph Lauren jogging suit . she curly hair in .  after the movie we took the kids to chuckie cheese . I helped her carry them in the house . we bathe them and put them to be . It started storming out side while I got them ready for bed .

" You should stay the night "

" That weather came out of nowhere " I said

" Your staying Shawn "

" Okay do I still have clothes here "

" Yes in the drawers over there "

I went and took a shower in the guestroom.and she showered in the master bath . I walked back in and got in the bed she did too and laid on my chest . I wrapped my arms around her.  I kissed her neck

" You smell good " I said

" Thank you it's Prada kisses "

" it does make me wanna kiss you " she kissed me and we fell asleep .
