Chapter 1

"Wake up wake up Sophie happy birthday, I have a whole day planned out." Stephanie said should give me while jumping up-and-down on the bed.

"Nini I love you but if you don't stop shaking me and screaming in my ear, I'm going to kill you. Beside my birthday is tonight at 12." I said Rolling my eyes at her.

"What I guess you don't want your presents, I can take it back to the store if you want."she look at me with a smirk on our face.

"Okay okay I'm getting up," not trying to sound like I care, inside I'm squealing with joy because I know every year she always gives me the most awesome gifts.

"Close your eyes Sophie, you know the routine."

"Hurry up already" this time not hiding my excitement.

"Okay open your eyes."

I open my eyes to see two boxes in two bags. "Nini you should have got me so many gifts, i'm not going to be able to top this for your birthday."

"Well you don't have to because the two boxes are from my parents open there presents first."

I opened the long rectangular box first seeing a light blue ball gown, trying to hold back the tears because this one the most beautiful gowns I ever seen with crystals on the top, from the waist down is a flowing lace material that hang down to the floor. "wow Nini this is perfect and like match perfectly with my blue eyes and red hair on my Pale Skin."

"Okay now open the second Present Sophia."

I'll open the second box seeing clear glass slippers. "They are beautiful, they remind me of the Cindarella movie." Then I bust out laughing, "where my I supposed to wear this at."

"Tonight now here is my gift, open." She said pushing the bag towards me.

I look inside the bag to see the small box inside was bracelet with a wolf charm with crystals. "Thank you Nini it's beautiful I will where it all the time."

"Well you better because it's 14 karat white gold and those are not crystals there diamonds." She said Rolling her eyes like I was supposed to know, i'm not the type of girl that is so into jewelry. " I love it, it's beautiful."

"Okay you have one more gift to open and this person wanted to remain anonymous, so here you go."Handing the bag to me with a devilish smile.

Opening the bag I see a larger box, inside was a pair of Diamond oval-shaped earrings with a matching Diamond oval-shaped necklace. "Nini is this real, And who will buy this for me." saying it with my mouth wide-open trying to stop you from hitting the ground.

"Yes it is, I can't tell you who brought it. What i can say is that it's 14 karat white gold and the diamond all together is 6 karats." The necklace is 3 karats and each pair of earrings 1-1/2 karats. Now come on the first thing on my list of things to do is breakfast trust me you going to need it Sophia." Grabbing my hand pulling me down stairs to the kitchen. "I made breakfast for your family, I made chocolate chip pancakes, bacon, sausage, eggs, freshly squeezed orange juice!!"

Walking in the kitchen I see my mom and my brother sitting at the table already eat, given my mom a kiss on the cheek before sitting down. Stephanie wants over to the stove and bring back two plates and hand one to me. "Thank you, you didn't have to do this, I hope you're not expecting for me to cook breakfast for you on your birthday." She laughed at me, I'm not kidding I hate cooking. Nini is only three weeks younger than me and she's a young Martha Stewart, good at cooking, cleaning, sewing about whatever it is that relates to girls 101.

"Okay Sophia you have 45 minutes to get ready for school Which starts in an hour, so eat your breakfast and go upstairs in get pretty because the car will be back here soon."

After eating breakfast I rushed upstairs to take a shower, shampooing and conditioning my hair. I wanted to blow dry but my hair is too long to finish on time, so I just decided to put it in the high bun. Putting on a loose V neck White T-shirt with a love me logo in black letters and the front,With some skinny Jeans, and a pair of white converses. I looked in the mirror I feel like I'm missing something I put in the mascara on my eyelashes, with a bit of red Mac lipstick. Then I put the bracelet Stephanie gave than I grab my backpack and ran downstairs, gave my mom kiss and went out the door where Nini was waiting for me in the car.

"It took you long enough." she's looking at me with that miss mysterious smirk on her face she's up to something or she knows something.

It didn't take me a long time, so give me that look. What are you up to?

Well after school we have a lot of running around to do before 9 o'clock, I'm taking you somewhere special and you would never forget this night as long as you live I promise.

We arrived to school hopping out the car in people greet Stephanie as usual by hugs and kisses, people just look at me with the nose turned up and say hi rouge. At first I hate it when they call me rouge but after all these years I got used to it and it don't bother me as much, seeing that I don't even know what that word mean. Walking to first period class, not paying attention I bump into someone I look up to see Stephanie brother.

"I'm sorry Chase, I didn't see you there," I said starting to shake because I know he don't like me, after all he's the reason why I can't come over to there house anymore what a jerk. I didn't do anything to make him mad, well at least I think I did.

"It's okay Sophia, just watch where you're going so you won't get hurt." Smiling as he put his hand on my shoulder coming me down. "I'll see you later," he said walking off to his class.

"Stephanie he's always nice to me, but how come you don't like me? I'm confused."

"He don't have a problem with you, it's just he don't want you to come over, I know it's confusing but you're find out why soon. Pulling my arm to follow so we won't be late for first period.

The second we opened door the final bell ringed we walked over and took seats, it's funny because every since elementary school we always had the same classes. Every year I say that to her, she say if you don't want me in your classes I will have them change. Good the day went by pretty fast. The bell rang and we rushed out the school seeing to the car, mr. Smith hold the door open for us as we jumped in the backseat. Don't get me wrong I like Mr. Smith taking us everywhere but I really hope tomorrow my parents get me a car for my 16th birthday.

"Okay now it's time to go to spa Sophia," she said smiling at me. "First were going to get a massage than a were going to get a Manny-Petty. then we're going to get our hair done all nice in pretty."

After returning back to my house I should be feeling relaxed after four hours of being pampered, For some reason I feel tense more than I ever felt in my life. After an hour we where ready to go, I just needed to put on my set that a anonymous person gave me.

"Stephanie you look beautiful," she's naturally tan wearing a black strapless dress that stopped right above-the-knee with a pair of black heels. With her long blonde waist length hair and blue eyes it perfect.

"Thank you, you also look beautiful and I see your wearing your new Jewelry. someone going to be happy to see you with it on. You're going to have to wear a blindfold because I want to be a surprise." she said before we walked out the door into the car then putting the blindfold over my eyes.
