Oh. My. Goi.

It's two in the afternoon and grandpa is trying to set me on a blind date!

The worst part is I have an appointment with my besties Laura and Sana. But NO, I'm stuck here the this horrible person who is promised to be my fiancee. Apparently , grandpa and his best friend decided that it was ok to control my my love life. For the sake of a company!?

"Gianni, is is Xavier, Mr. Macintosh's son."
Grandpa says as I shake his hand in annoyance. To be honest, he isn't so bad looking. But, I can't say if I like him by his looks. His personality could be disgusting for all I know.

"As you may know, you two are engaged. Not lawfully yet, but promised. So, you two must learn to love each other." Grandpa said with confidence in his voice.

"Is today considered a date?" Xavier asks. What type of question is that? A meeting as a date?

"No, today is just a meeting day, your real date starts next Sunday." Grandpa responds with Melody in his tone.

I guess that means the 'date' is over. I rise from my chair and without a word I walk out of the meeting room. I hear grandpa call my name but I ignore it. The meeting is over anyways. I walk up to my room and push the door open. I sit down on my bed and pick up my phone -83 new messages - I open my texts and they are all from Laura and Sana. Who are AKA my besties. I take a quick shower and put on my black crop top, white Cardigan, blue ripped jeans, and my white jordans.

I go down stairs and walk out the sliding doors. I walk to my car

And drive down to the mall that Sana's mom owns. I turn on the radio and iSpy comes on. I start dancing in my seat at a stoplight but I stop when I notice people from other cars staring. Once I pull up I park my car right next to the entrance and walk into the mall. Since I personally know the mall owner I have a free pass to the VIP(very Important people) pass. They actually cost 100,000 per people.

And laura

"Where were you?" Sana asked asked as they ran over to me.

"My grandpa set me up on a blind date." I say rolling my eyes.

"Poor you." Laura says fanning me dramatically with her hand.

"Maybe shopping would make you feel better?" Sana waves her debit card in my face.

"How much is on there?" Laura asks

"200,000." Sana responded

"Really." Laura says looking bored

"My mom doesn't want me spoiled." Sana explains.

"What about you Gianni? You're the richest one here." Sana asks

"I've got two million on mine." I say proudly.

"I've only got one million." Laura pouts.

"Anyway let's shop!"

"That was fun." Sana says handing our bags to her butler, who is supposed to drop them off at our houses.

"Let's go get some froyo! " laura says dragging us toward the Fro Yo store. Once we get our FroYo we sit down at the booth in the corner.

"So,guys I have big news." Laura says with jazz hands

"What is it?" I smirk

"I'm opening my own my own clothing store." She says

"And! Since we have all been besties since preschool. I'm naming it G.S.L standing for Gianni,Sana,And Laura." She says overly happy.

"I'm so happy for you." I say acting like she just got engaged.

"Anyway we gotta go we are planning something really big." Sana says dragging laura away. After they disappeared out the door I was left alone eating sprinkled froyo with chocolate shavings in it. I get a text from grandpa saying

I came to take your car. I sent some one to go pick you up.- Grandpa

Why would he take my car!? Grandpa can be crazy sometimes. Once I finish my froyo I stand up and throw it away. I walk out of the mall and wait by the bench on the curb. And wait. Just waiting.
