Edd was so glad all the time which made Tom smile.
Edd was so very passionate about the things he loved or found interesting and Tom loved listening to him ramble on about it.
Edd always made jokes or puns then he'd giggle afterwards, knowing it was stupid, and Tom thought so too, but he still chuckled with him, because it meant he got to listen to Edd giggle even more, which made his heart melt like ice in lava.
Tom loved looking at Edd with his adorable, chubby face. Tom loved Edd's hair too, which was always parted over Edd's eyes, which Tom wished he could see. Tom loved ruffling and petting his fluffy locks. Edd didn't mind it.
He also loved Edd's body.
Oh man.
That cute little chubby body of his, especially his butt, was perfect. Everything about Edd was perfect.
He was literally an angel to Tom, minus the wings.
Tom just loved Edd so much and how he was always beaming with utter enthusiasm every single day.
Tom felt so unworthy and undeserving yet, so very blessed to have this adorable green hooded Cola boy in his life.
Tom has had a gigantic crush on Edd since the very beginning they met, he still remembers it like it was yesterday, even though it happened many years ago.

Tom was in 7th grade middle school at the time.
He was sitting alone outside at recess, it had been like that for awhile. Just him being alone with no friends was the norm for him.
Until one day, a cute, slightly chubby 12 year boy in a light green t-shirt
that had the words "super hero" on it, came up to him and asked,
"Would you like to be friends?"
And that is where it all began.
That is where his crush for Edd florished.
Granted, he was still in middle school not knowing who he was yet, or what 'love' was. So it was very confusing at first. At times when Tom became confused about what he felt. He would push Edd away, not knowing how to react whenever Edd said something adorable like,
"Tom! Tom! Look! I drew you as a dinosaur! Rawr!"
Then giggling happily afterwards.
Which made Tom blush madly and feel weirdly warm inside. Like if baby birds were flapping their wings all around inside his body.
He didn't know what to think of it, so every time it happened he thought of every possible excuse, anything to get away from Edd, to get rid of this feeling. But it only made it worse.
Because all he could think of was Edd, and he wanted to go back and listen to him speak about his favorite video games or share a drawing he made while in class.
But he couldn't go back, the feeling of 'love' was so overwhelming that Tom would just go to the bathroom and try to sniffle or hiccup his way out of it, and just hide in the bathroom.
Just trying to escape this feeling.
Yes, Tom was strong, but not strong enough to handle his intense feelings for Edd.
He wanted to go back so badly, but he could never let Edd see him crying.
He's Edd's hero, his knight in shiny sliver armor because he stood up for Edd when he couldn't stand up for himself. He didn't ever want Edd to think he's weak. So he could never show his true self to Edd, because then Edd would lose faith in him and Tom would never be able to accept that, because he wanted to protect Edd from any forces that made him upset, Tom wanted to be there, be there and fight for him with all his might, because he loved Edd with all his heart.
