'Come on. You can do it. You know you can.' I thought to myself as I looked down the rickety stairwell.
"Ha! Told you she couldn't do it! She's a wimp!" The lead skateboarder laughed mockingly.
I growled at him, "I am not scared!"
He grinned, "Then show me. Make it down the stairs in one piece, you're aloud to join my crew." He sneered.
I nodded and stepped on my board, and headed down the stairs. It was bumpy, so I jumped on the rail and slid. A bit wobbly, but a lot smoother.
But there was a large metallic snapping sound and the ground disappeared underneath me. I screamed as I fell to the far away forest floor. The lead boarder's words ran through my mind.
No one has ever made it down the rail. They always fall back.
This explains it. They have all fallen to their doom, like I am.
And pain shatters through my broken body as I let out one last scream before I died...
