"Your Majesty. Is it understood that your statement is acting as announcement confirming your granddaughter stepping down from her post as the next Monah of Italy?" The reporter asked Mikolina.

The Queen looked up at the reporter of the newspaper with a saddened expression on her face. A lot of things had changed after Sarah and Lucas had gone into hiding with Beatrix. They had a looked all over the world for the royals and no one knew where they were. Annie and Mikolina had a difficult derision to do, which was to abdicate Sarah's claim into the Kingdom of Italy. In the eyes of the press it had torn the Italian royal family apart. As Sarah's birthday had pasted and it was time for Mikolina to step down no on was able to take the throne from the Queen. Anne couldn't do it as to her past, losing her titles and land had come to bite Anne on the arse. The Italy needed a new Queen and no one was able to step up as Sarah had disappeared.

The cameras were closing in on Mikolina face for her reaction to the reporters question. The single tear they made its way down The Queens cheek was enough to tell the public her reaction. Mikolina took a deep breath and spoke with pride as the words came out of her mouth.

"As of Princess Sarah's disappearance and as we unknown of her were abouts, is it my place to renounce her claim to the throne of Italy. From now on. Her Royal Highness Lady Sarah Leone De Medici, Countess of Torrigmaggore, Duchess of Florence, Princess of Tuscany and Princess of the entire kingdom of Italy and granddaughter of Her Majesty Queen Mikolina of Italy, from herby has no claim to the throne of Italy."

In a flash the TV screen was black and the remote control was flung over the room and shattered into pieces of impact to the wall. Anne looked over to her mother in tears.

"How could we do this mother?! How could we renouce her claim?!" Anne shouted in tears.

Mikolina rose from her chair balancing her left side of her body on her walking stick. She walked over to the window to look over the city of Rome. It was 8pm Italy time and the cold night was brightened by the star's. The royal apartment was glowing in the yellow flames from the fire place, somehow cosy in all the icy tension in the room.

"Anntonietta we had too." The Queen said through her parched lips. " El Douche left us no choice."

Anne swung to her feet and looked at her mother with angry eyes. "We always have a choice mother! Because of your choice you have to step down as Queen and that man will take the title of King of Italy!" Anne shouted at her mother. Mikolina stood firm and kept her back to Anne, looking out of the window as a excuse. "Have you no honour, no backbone!" In one sweeping moment The Queen turned round and slapped her daughter around the face.

"How dare you?!" The Queen spat in her face. " No backbone? No honer? You cannot speak to me about honour Anntonietta. You through your honour out the window the moment you ran away with your ex husband!" Anne continued to look angrily at her mother. "I have enough honour to hand over Italy to El Douche, you think that is easy? That a murder on MY throne?!" She shouted before collapsing down on a heap on the floor, hiding the tears with the palms of her hands.

"We need to get Sarah back. We need to get her back safely. Who knows whats happening to her right now?"
