It had arrived....the second trial, i stood on the dock with the others, they had their spells and such to help them through however i looked at the clear tear shaped blooms that hung loosely in my palm before i heard the sign to go, i swallowed the blooms and waoted only seconds before i felt the changes begin, i slammed back on the dock as i felt gills form on my neck and my legs merging together to form a tail, scales shot from my skin and fangs filled my mouth as well as my ears turning to fins, i sat up once the pain passed and dove into the water leaving behind the horrified faces of the teachers and students, i swam nimbly to my destination... the precious things taken from us. I passed the mermaids unharmed, they swam close but paid no mind to me as i slipped in past them to the floating... students?! I sped up and closed on a familiar blonde head that floated next to the others, "Draco..." i cupped his face in my hands as i looked at him only to feel a sharp pain in my side, turning i came face to wand with harry, my eyes widened as the others closed in on me thinking i was going to kill the Malfoy, i drew my wand and shot a spell at the bindings holding him to the waterbed, harrys eyes widened as he seen my unique wand before sheilding me only it was too late. Spells cut into my tail and arm as well as one on the side of my neck, my blood encircled me and soon the mermaids had closed in on me.... the weakest of their spawn are usually killed off for food....i was the weakest at present, cursing under my breath i swam as quick as i could to the floating Malfoy, wrapping my arm around him as we went up i pushed us closer to the surface hoping to signal someone to take him and sure enough we made it. He spluttered and coughed as we broke through the surface, the crowd began to cheer before they realised the blood that surrounded us, i was dragged under with the boy in my grasp, his eyes widened as we were dragged under by webbed hands, he clutched his throat as he grew desperate for air, with my hands both in use leaving me without the ablity to use my wand i dragged him close and slammed his lips to mine, his eyes widened until he realised i was breathing into him, he held onto me tightly and seemed to hungrily breath for air. Our eyes closed tightly as i sheilded him from vicious claws that threatened to cut into him. Ribs, back, sides, arms, tail, there wasnt a place that wasnt scratched by them, i felt my limit being reached as i felt my trasformation begin, i breath a large breath into my lungs and Dracos as i changed back, the mermaids backed off as they witnessed the change in amazement. I used it to my advantage and grabbed Draco as we swam quickly back to the dock, the others had arrived while i arrived with Harry, i bled heavily as i pushed Draco onto the wooden surface where the teachers and students helped him up and wrapped him in towels, he however leant down to help me instead "come on Tia" he whispered as he stretched out his hand, i smiled warmly to him and weakly reached to him, our fingers brushing over one anothers only for my eyes to widen in fear as something wrapped slowly around my ankle "Help" was the only thing i managed to whisper before i was yanked back under "CELESTIA!!!" His cry seemed to draw attention to my lashing form that sunk deeper and deeper only to suddenly stop as he held me, he had jumped back in a moment after i was dragged under and held his wand infront of him only to get scratched along his arm. A started shooting at the one or two that came near us so i didnt use alot of magic however i was low on blood, we were helped from the water and wrapped quickly, Dracos arm was treated first as my wounds were hidden by the giant fluffy towel that covered me. "Miss Potter are you alright?" A voice asked as my vision faded in and out, "I told you treat her first!" Dracos angered voice shouted at he medics that faffed around him before i collapsed "Celestia!" My body colliding with the wooden deck was the last thing i remember as my conciousness faded to black.

~~~~Draco's P.O.V~~~~

Fear engulfed my heart as i watched as Celestia was dragged under the water again and away from my grasp, however i didnt expect for the medics to faff around me and the gash to my arm...it wasnt as bad as her injuries, "for god sake im fine! Treat her first!" "But-but mr. Malfoy-" "I told you treat her first!" My angry shout seemed to catch the attention of thise around us including the girl in question however she looked pale and was swaying...wait 'swaying?' I watched as her body tilted sideways, the towel opening slightly exposing the red died towel and still bleeding gashes to her body "Celestia!" Tears brimmed in my eyes as i tried to run to her, to catch her before she suffered anymore pain but i was too late.....her body smashed off the cold, wet and hard wood, i fell to my knees next to her as everyone else looked on in shock, "Dont just stand there! Help her!" I tried to pit pressure on the wounds to stop them bleeding and thankfully was able to slow the main ones that bled the most, finally snapping back to reality the medics ran to her and moved me back away from her after securing the lacerations. I stood in a daze as i realosed her blood coated my hands, they shook as i seen the vivid ruby coloured liquid, my heart twisted as if i had been stabbed and my stomach churned, 'what is this?!' I shooky head as i felt a hand laid on my shoulder... Cedric "You need to be honest with yourself Malfoy... go to her" without another thought i ran and ran as fast as my legs could carry me, my wet robes weighing me down, my memories of her flooded my mind as i ran, her smile, her laugh, when she was cooking.....and then....the times she cried, the times she was in the infirmary, when pansy slapped her....when she was beaten.... my pace slowed as i drew closer to the door of the infirmary i had become so familiar with. A small whimper from next to me made me realise it was Axel, i petted his head and went to push open the door only to be pulled back by the winged canine, i arched a brow as he whined again, just then i seen the twins exiting "is she okay?!" "They wont tell us anything-" "but from what i heard Harry will know more....they wont let you in Malfoy" they explained sadly, "i see..... ill just wait then" i sat by the wall with Axel resting on my lap as the pair left, "you knew didnt you? Heh....she raised you well..you.........maybe then you could help me with how i feel" "Draco! I was so worried! Are you okay?" Pansys shrill voice echoed through the hallway making me wince "im fine i told you....and stop acting like we're going out....the kiss was an accident i told you" "do you want me to tell your father that your buddie is a potter?" I stiffened before i slumped down "...no" "good so then youll go along with it then!" I stayed silent and traced my finger over the ring Celestia made for me, Axel suddenly began to growl threateningly at the pug girl infront of me, as he snarled at her he lunged forward making her run off screaming her lungs off, he settled back onto my lap as we sat, i brushed my hand along his snowy fur, "i have to lie to myself... to keep her safe" i muttered before i assume sleep took me since the next thing i know im being shaken awake by smething being placed over me, "what time is- wait is she okay?!" I hop to my feet as i realise it was madam pomfred, she chuckled but smiled to me all the same "shes stable.... would you like to see her?" I nodded quickly and gollowed her in with Axel in tow, once we reached her bed i found her gashes had been healed thankfully leaving no scars on her. However she was still pale as ever, the iton medicine was being fed to her by an IV but she still looked radiant as ever, "shes lucky... they were vicious marks but i guess we have you to thank for that Mr. Malfoy" i held her cold hand delicately in my own scared she might break even at the smallest touch, "i should be thanking her" my mind flew back to the kiss that saved my life...her soft plump lips pressed to mine in an attempt to breath air into me, i didnt even care about the air at the time, i just enjoyed the feeling of her lips pressed to mine and how she fit into my arms perfectly 'but thats not how you should be with your buddie' i frowned as that strange feeling came back to my stomach, her parted lips were tempting me again but i shook my head and pushed away the thought 'what...is going on with me...? Celestia what are you doing to me?' I clutched my hair in my hands as i tried to figure out what was happening to me but i couldnt think of anything at all. Frustrated i couldn't ever place my thought however there was one thing i was sure of 'Please wake up soon........i miss you'.....
