Parker's POV

The Trench Gang was a powerful organization on the North side of town. Though the leader was about my age, he had a bad obsession.

"What the hell!" Mouse yelled. "Why is Max outside with him?!"

Oh yah did I forget to mention his obsession is our youngest member. Max.

"What?!" Jack ran to the window pushing guys twice his size out of the way.

"That would be their leader Streak. He kind of has a thing for your younger sister." I tried to explain quickly, grabbing ahold of his shoulder.

"She's only fifteen years old!" He looked at me with angry eyes, his teeth grinding.

"Yep. He's almost five years older than her" I tried to hold back laughter.

Max's POV

Getting outside was the easy part because I was so small but the task ahead of me was greater. Don't start a gang war between us.

"Flower, so nice to see you again" Spark held out him hand to me.

I looked at the guns that where pointing at me and sighed. I could tell he saw this and he lowered his hand to his side. Barking orders at his men the guns where soon out of my face and back on the stone building behind me.

"Hey Sparky" I chuckled a little and held out my own hand.

His smile grew as he gently grabbed my hand, pulling me close to him.

"How is my girl" He back away a little giving us breathing room.

"I am not your girl Spark." I looked down. "I belong to this gang, not yours."

"We could change that..." His smile dropped as he looked at me with pleading eyes.

"I love my family. I'm not going to leave them over your little love fantasy." My anger was taking ahold. Don't start this war Max. "I am fifteen years old for gosh sake. You just need to get over me and find someone your own age!"

"You know I can't do that" Spark reached to me, backing up quickly to avoid his touch. "I will wait for you to change your mind"

"You're not here to start a war right" I looked up at him, the sickness in my stomach rising.

"Nope" He smiled down at me again.

"Please leave" Confidence, I needed to fill that feeling with confidence.

"I will make you fall for me one day flower"

And with that he was gone, his mates fallowing their master back to their own territory.

"Max!" Jack ran out grabbing my shoulders roughly. "What the hell were you thinking?"

Parker ran out after him and looked at me with cool collected eyes.

"That was dangerous kid" I scoffed.

"Whatever, you know that they weren't going to hurt me" She broke out laughing.

"True that" She smiled brightly. "No war now"

"Yah" I looked back where Spark had left.

Was I that important to you?

Was saving your life that big of a debt to me.

I attract danger, stop coming for me.

Fall in love with someone who won't hurt you.

Flashback 4 ½ years ago

I held the gun in my hand looking around the alley, waiting for my first victim. The sound of a fight breaking out echoed down the alley.

"Stop please!" a boy's voice yelled.

Running down I saw a kid a little older than me on the ground, blood pooling from his mouth. A man much older than both of us holding a metal pole in his hands.

"Kid you stole form me, now I'm going to take your life" The drunk man's voice sounded rough and slurred.

"Hey!" I held the gun up, only to scare him. "Leave him alone!"

The guy looked up at me, a sickening smile now plastered on his droopy face.

"You want some of this?!" he dropped the pole walking towards me.

"I'm sorry" holding the gun out, I held my ground. "Any man like you deserves this fate"

Two shot to the chest saved my life and the boy on the ground.

Running to the boy I helped him up and hand him sit agents the wall. Pulling the emergency kit out of my bag I wrapped his arm and leg, I didn't have anything big enough to hold his chest.

"What's your name" he winced as I applied bandages to the small cuts around his beautiful face.

"Max" I pulled pain meds out of the kit and handed them to him with my water bottle.

"Spark" he took them quickly. "Thank you Max"
