It was a dark, cool September night in the little city known as Resond. The wind blew enough to keep a person cool but not enough that anyone would really need a jacket or hoodie to keep them warm.
There was some slight chatter around a bar known as Revolution, people were waiting in line to get in, talking with friends and dates, smiling from ear to ear.
Resond was a type of little city that never really cared how old anyone was or what they got into as long as no one was causing any trouble; which was actually a pretty good system because no one ever really caused any trouble surprisingly.
There was a girl with long white hair that reached the mid-point of her back. The ends and back of her hair was as white as cocaine was, but the time it reached her bangs, they became a shimmer of grey when the light hit it perfectly. She had bangs that went straight across, covering her forehead and falling just before her light purplish eyes. Her eyes were so light purple that they were the most noticeable feature on her, all foggy and hiding a multitude of secrets.
She had a black shirt on, a black skirt to go with it, the waist part of the skirt over lapping the shirt, making it seem like a dress; she had on a pair of black flats and a dark navy blue hoodie with red splatter on it tied around her small frame. She had a lit cigarette dangling in between her lips, staring off at the cars driving down the street and the drunks who are fishing for their keys to leave.
'What idiots..' she thought to herself, taking a drag, closing her eyes and leaning her head back against the building. 'They're going to fucking kill themselves...one thing this city doesn't need.'
She opened her eyes to see that the line has gotten shorter, noticing a young male staring at her with extremely light blue eyes.
"Can I help you?" smoke spilled out of her mouth as soon as they parted when she spoke, her eyes peered almost into him as he sheepishly begun to speak.
"U-uh..sorry..your hair is just really...uh..cool..hah." the male responded, rubbing the back of his head when Eden simply smiled at him.
"Thanks." she raised flashed him another smile.
The line begun to move and the male just gave her a smile before he headed to the front and disappeared into the building.
Eden just watched him vanish into the building; after a few minutes she headed inside and made her way to the bar, taking a seat on a red colored bar stool.
"What can I getcha?" the bartender asked, slinging a small hand towel over her shoulder.
"Weird....where's Ralphy? He's usually here all the time." Eden asked, resting her head in her palm.
"Oh, poor dude got sick, so I'm here covering for the man." she smiled, extending her hand, "I'm Shelli."
Eden just looked at Shelli's hand then looked at her face, "I'll have a simple shot of whiskey."
"Ooookay then...one shot of whiskey comin' right up." Shelli went to go and prepare the drink, awkwardly retracting her hand once she was rejected of an introduction from Eden.
The male that Eden talked to briefly in line, sitting on a bar stool at least 2 down from Eden, glancing at her out from the corner of his eye.
"Hello there, kid what can I get cha?" Shelli said to the male after placing Eden's glass on the counter.
"Pint o' beer please."
Eden glanced at him once he spoke, a smile tugging at her lips as they made eye contact.
"Hey."
