Vilma was walking to school. She missed the bus this morning, but she didn’t care about that. Now she could think about all the things that have happened lately. Aaron, the boy she liked had vanished after his house was burned to the ground. Some people say that he was killed by the fire but she doesn’t want to believe that he is dead. She feels so sorry for Aaron. The last time Vilma saw Aaron he was confused. Although he was so sweet to her, she could see that something was wrong with him. She still remembers the day she saw him for the last time as if it  was yesterday. Aaron brought her home from school and they almost kissed. Unfortunately he had to leave. Now he is gone. Tomorrow is her eighteenth birthday. Her aunt was baking a birthday cake for her this morning. Vilma’s parents died when she was really young. She doesn’t remember them. All that she knows is that she has always lived with her aunt, the sister of her mother. She finally arrived at school just in time to get to class. She couldn’t concentrate. The only thing she could think of was Aaron. She was happy when school was over. Vilma got home and she and her aunt had a nice supper. They watched some television. It was almost 10 O’clock in the evening. Vilma got to bed still thinking about Aaron.

It was her eighteenth birthday. Vilma’s aunt woke her up. She had brought a slice of the cake and put it on Vilma’s desk. There was this small candle on top of the slice cake. Vilma felt so happy for a moment, but then out of nowhere she got an enormous headache. She thought that if she had a shower it would go away but it didn’t. So she took some aspirins and walked downstairs.
Her aunt had decorated the living room with balloons and birthday flags. When Vilma got to school she started to feel a bit weird. The headache kept getting worse when she got further through the day. At the end of school it wasn’t just a headache, she got dizzy too. She decided to take everything a little slow, so she walked home again. At the way home she started to hear these voices.
Someone was talking to her, but every time she turned her head around no one was there. She kept walking and one of the voices became louder and louder. "She looks nice doesn’t she, but I think that something is wrong." Vilma looked everywhere. She couldn’t see where the voice came from.
"She looks a bit tired. What a shame. She is a beautiful girl." Vilma stopped walking this time.
She looked around again and again. A bird flew right above her. "What could be wrong with such a nice girl." The bird. She heard the bird talking. That was why she didn’t see anyone.
The bird was following her all the way to her house. The bird kept talking about her.
Vilma got very irritated by the bird. She yelled at the bird "Stop please, stop talking!!!!!! Just shut the hell up!!!!" The bird understood what Vilma yelled. He was silent for a moment and said sorry. The bird flew away. When Vilma got home she told her aunt she wasn’t feeling well.
She went to her room and lay down on her bed. She was so tired and fell asleep.

“Leave me alone!” a girl was running through the woods. She heard voices. She tried to understand what the voices were saying but she couldn’t concentrate. A few men were following the girl into the woods. “What do you want from me!” the girl kept running further and further into the forest. The voices became louder and the men came closer. She tripped over a piece of wood right with her face on the ground. The men tried to keep her on the ground. “What do you people want from me! I don’t understand.” The girl began to cry. One of the men was bigger and stronger than the others. He stood up watching the girl. In his hand he hold a sword made of fire. In a blink of a moment he killed the girl.
Vilma woke up screaming. The dream felt so real. It was if she litterally was the girl. She could feel all of the girl’s emotions. “Vilma, are you alright?!” Vilma’s aunt had heard Vilma scream from upstairs. “I’m okey! It was just a nightmare!” Vilma got out of bed and put some clothes on. She walked downstairs to get something to eat. “That was a hell of a nightmare you had Vilma.” Vilma’s aunt was sitting in the living room reading a newspaper when she saw Vilma coming downstairs. “I know, it was probably because I feel a little sick.” Vilma responded when she walked over to the kitchen. Vilma got some water when the doorbell rang. “I’ll get it!” Vilma’s aunt yelled. Vilma was getting some water when she heard her aunt scream.
“Is everything okay?!” Vilma didn’t get any response from her aunt so she went to look what was wrong. When Vilma walked around the corner she saw three men standing on her front porch holding her aunt. “We came to find you Vilma and here you are just standing there doing nothing” One of the men spoke with a low voice. “Let her go!” Vilma tried to get her aunt loose from the men but they were to strong. “You want your aunt?” the man asked. The one who spoke was probably the leader of the three. He was bigger and looked stronger than the other two. “Of course I want her back let her go!” The man laughed and suddenly there was a sword made of fire the man’s hand. “I am not going to let her go. Instead I’m going to kill you both and burn down your house.” He said it like it was the most funny thing in the world. The two other man let Vilma’s aunt go. The man with the sword stopped Vilma’s aunt from running away. He had his sword in one hand and with the other he was holding Vilma’s aunt. Vilma tried to stop the man but he already had pushed his sword right through Vilma’s aunt heart.
Vilma cried and fell down on the floor. She was so desperate. Her only family was gone for ever. “Now it’s your turn to die!” the man slowly walked over to Vilma. Vilma stood up and tried to run away. She ran into the kitchen. The three men were following her. Now they all had fires words in their hands. She throw some of the chairs into the pathway so it would slow the men down. Then she heard a whooshing sound from behind her. She turned to look and she saw three big man with wings coming out of their back. The wings were big and like those from birds. It was beautiful and scary at the same time. The storm was right above Vilma’s house. A lighting bold struck right into the living room. The men didn’t even notice the storm. Vilma ran out of the house when another lightning bold hit the house. This time there was more damage. Something in one of the rooms exploded and caused a fire that was spreading through the house. Vilma tried to run away from her house when one the men suddenly was right before her. She tried to run the other way but there was another man. They surrounded her. Vilma felt a strange feeling. She got angry. They killed her only family. The death of her aunt was the only thing she could think of at the moment. Suddenly she felt the skin on her back breaking open. Something was trying to get out through her skin. And there it was. Big, gorgeous wings came out of her back. She felt like nothing could destroy her. She felt powerful. She flew up and tried to get away but the three men were faster. They had flown for many years. This was her first time. After a fight that looked like dancing angels in the sky, Vilma managed to escape. She ended up somewhere near a road a few miles away from her home. She was sitting on the ground. Her wings had vanished. She was happy and sad at the same time. Happy because she made it out alive and sad because she had no home ad no family.
A car stopped in front of Vilma. A man came out of the car and asked if she was okey. She told him that her house was destroyed by a storm and that her aunt died in the fires. He sat next to Vilma trying to calm her down. He crabbed a tissue out of his pocket. “Here.” He said and handed over the tissue to Vilma. Vilma blew her nose in the tissue. The tissue smelled strange. It smelled like chemicals. Vilma started to feel dizzy and passed out.
