11:00am. It was always the same time.
"Where's our fifty dollars? It's time to pay up" I closed my eyes and sighed. They were coming more frequently. I had stolen over three hundred from my mother's purse this week alone.
"It's here, hold on" I rummaged around in my pocket for the crumpled fifty dollar Note.
"Today would be great y'know" the leader tapped her foot impatiently. Her name was Jane. She had long strawberry blonde hair and blue eyes. All of the boys loved her and the teachers; They adored her. Everyone knew what she did to afford her perfect manicures and expensive designer purses. But nobody cared. Finally I felt the wrinkled paper against my skin. I gave her the fifty euro and she walked away with a proud smirk on her face most likely heading towards her next victim.
" (y/n) you really shouldn't do what they say. You can't just let them push you around" piped up (y/f), my best friend. I didn't answer. I just looked away and continued eating.
Next day.
Five minutes to eleven. I glanced anxiously at the clock. Any minute now. I had the money in my hand. Yesterday after school I had been beaten up for eating up their time. They had other victims to go to. Eleven. There they were making there way over to me, a smirk playing on their lips. I held out the money so that this time they had no excuse to hurt me."No" came a voice behind me. Steel gray eyes met mine as I turned sharply in my chair.
"What do you mean no. Who do you think you are?" Jane spat. She wasn't used to people talking back to her.
"I said, no you will not take that money from her. This has been going on long enough." The room fell silent as the two stared at each other. I had no idea who this guy was but I was thankful of him
"And why should I do that?" She questioned. He walked up to her. It was only when he stood in front of her did I notice the height difference. If it had been different circumstances I probably would have burst out laughing.
"Ill tell you why" he leaned in and whispered something in her ear. I didn't hear anything he said but judging by her face it definitely wasn't anything good. She gulped and handed you back the fifty dollars. She then turned and walked out of the room closely followed by her to allies with confused looks on their faces. Everyone in the room cheered at the man but he just stood there expressionless. He turned to me and I smiled greatfully. He didn't return it. This time he walked over to me and stopped when he was close enough so that I could feel his warm breath on my neck. He was very intimidating and in shifted in my seat uncomfortable.
"If she doesn't pay you back within the next week talk to me." He had a deep gravelly voice. My heart beated faster as he looked me straight in the eyes. He has beautiful gray eyes with long eyelashes. I had to admit he was quite attractive. I became so engulfed by his majestic eyes I didn't notice the bell ring for next class. He turned to walk away.
"Hey what's your name" I called out.
"It's Levi. Levi Ackerman"
"I'm (y/-"
"(y/n) I know" he smirked at me and continued walking towards class.
