On a late spring day, a young black haired girl was casually strolling around her school campus when suddenly, she bumped into her colleague. "Oh my! I'm sorry", she said with a petrified look on her face.
David, her colleague, turned around, scowled, and went to class.
The young girl, Suki, frowned, expecting at least a nod in acknowledgment that he accepted her apology.
"Suki!", her friend, Rage, said, waving at her, "Meeko and I gotcha our dorm number so you wouldn't forget again. 77B. Don't forget that!"
Rage handed her friend the slip of paper, and sharply turned around, not wanting to be late for class.
Suki glanced at the paper and put it in her binder. She made her way to her Psychology class, happy that it was Friday. At least I can sleep in, she thought.

The Korean girl made it to class with just one minute to spare. She sat down next to her friend, Blossom, greeting her. "Hi Blossom!" "Hello Suki!"

The bell rang and the two teenagers zipped their mouths. The teacher, Mrs. Mitchell, walked in, telling the class to quiet down. She was one of the strict teachers in the grade, so the students listened to her and the classroom immediately became quiet. "Thank you. Now as you all know, the end of the year is rolling around. We're going to have one last project with partners."

Blossom and Suki looked at each other, nodding. "However, I will choose your partners depending on your last names."

She started putting together partners and then came to Suki, handing her a directions sheet. "Suki Kim and David Kim." At that, Suki's face was drained of color. Of all people, he had to be my partner?!

David groaned, but stood up, sitting down on Blossom's seat. Suki gulped a breath and looked down at her desk.
"U-Uh. S-So th-the pr-project is ab-about the h-human mind. W-We have to r-res-search h-how the emo-emotions work," Suki stuttered nervously. She saw Squid give her a thumbs up out of the corner of her eye.
David nodded and the two started working on the project, Suki writing down stuff and David researching in the computer.
Soon, the bell rang and both of them packed up their stuff, getting out of class.
