Chapter Two
Megan's POV
I woke up the next morning and got dressed for school. I put on a red t-shirt and some skinny jeans, one yellow and one green sock, put my Nike sliders on, then pulled my lacross team's sweat shirt on over my head. I went into the bathroom put on some makeup, brushed through my natural curly hair, and put on my favorite peace sign earrings. I ran down stairs and made mine and Adam's breakfast, yelled for Adam and poured some orange juice.
I heard footsteps coming down the stairs and expected them to be Adom's, but much to my surprise they were my father's.
He walked right up to me and slapped me in the face, sending me onto the tabble just missing the cereal.
"Why the hell are you yelling so early in the morning?" he snapped at me.
"I was calling Adam down for his breakfast," I said looking at him like "duh it's a school day".
"If you ever do it again this early again, I'll take him away for good and then it'll be just me and you," he said with a sinester smile.
Adam came running down the stairs as my father walked out. He came and ate his cereal and was surprisingly quiet.
"What's wrong little bud?"
"You and daddy were fighting again."
"Oh it was nothing important just that he's saying that I should get a job," I said smiling.
"He's not gonna make you move out right?" he said panicking.
"I seriously dobt it, besides who is going to make you such good food huh?"
"Nobody," he said sounding relieved.
"Good now hurry up and eat your food before you're late for school."
