Of course, my co-workers decided to surprise me as I worked, doing the old fashioned birthday song we would do for customers, and gave me a brownie sundae with a candle.
Alex and some friends also passed by, and had plans for a small get together at our house.
Right now restaurant is closed and I was cleaning up tables when my boss walked up to me.
"Hey, birthday gal," he said. "Let Shawna take care of the rest of the tables, you can head home now."
"You sure?" I asked.
"Of course. Not much left to do around here anyway. Go enjoy another year of life," he said.
"Thanks, Dave," I smiled as I finished that last table and then went to gather my things, saying goodbye to everyone before heading to my car.
I climbed in, and put in the key, but then saw my car wasn't starting.
"What the....?" I mumbled, trying a few more times, then groaned. "No, no, no, why?"
I clicked the button to open the hood, take a flashlight with me and walked outside, pulling the hood open and shining the flashlight at the engine. I gasped in shock.
Every tube and wire was cut or sliced or unplugged.
"Fuck!" I cursed out loud in anger.
I should probably head back to the restaurant to call a tow. Maybe Gina can give me a ride home.
I grab my bag and keys before shutting my car and walking back when suddenly...
A hand clamped over my mouth and I screamed and tried to fight as I was suddenly pulled into an alley.
I grunted as I somehow got my right arm free and swung my arm back, smashing my elbow against the guy's head, making him grunt and shove me to the ground.
"BITCH!" A familiar voice snarled and I gasped and turned to meet with...
"Cameron?!" I gasped as I tried to quickly get up, but he was faster immediately bought his foot down on my stomach, making me gasp and yelp in pain as he held the side of his face.

"You're gonna fucking regret putting a restraining order on me, you slut!" he snarled, and then pulled a rag out from behind him, which I realized was dripping wet.
My eyes widen in horror and I went to scream, but he jumped on top of me and shoved the rag over my face, a sickening strong smell filling my nostrils as tried to fight him, screaming against the rag as he was trying to rip my clothes off.
That's when I felt my vision was starting to blur, making me realize it was chloroform.
No! I can't fall asleep! No, no, no!! Oh god, no!
All of a sudden, the weight that was on top of me disappeared and the rag was pulled off my face as I suddenly heard blood curdling screams and... growls?
I turned my head to see what happened, but everything was all blurry and dark in the alley.
"AAAAAHHHHH!!! SOMEBODY HELP ME!!!!!" Cameron's voice screamed. "OH DEAR GOD, WHAT ARE YOU......!?!?!"
I couldn't hear anymore because I felt the chloroform kick in and lost consciousness.
*Kuza*
I panted and growled as I retracted my horns and fangs, wiping the blood from my face as I stared down at the bastard's mangled corpse.
"Talk about overkill," a voice spoke from behind.
I turned and met with both Lucifer and Dementia, along with who I recognized was one of the satyrs, Joshua. Dementia looking frustrated.
"Honestly, Kuza, did you really have to make such a mess with him?" Dementia groaned. "You know I hate clean-up duty."

I shrugged as I looked at them. "Got carried away."
"Clearly," Joshua said, his onyx colored eyes falling in Jade's direction.
We all turned to see she laid unconscious on the ground as his hooved feet patted in her direction and I rushed over to her side. Her clothes were slightly torn but she was still decent, and there was a cut above her eyebrow.
"Hmm.... You weren't wrong," Joshua said. "Its like looking at Liliana's identical twin. I know see why you've become such a daredevil lately."
"Yeah," I sighed.
"I think its best she knows," Lucifer said. "Time is up. Won't be long until rogue henchmen and possessed hunters like Beelzebub sniff her out."
I sighed and moved her hair aside. "You're right..."
"Take her home. We'll deal with this mess here," Joshua said.
I nodded. "Alright."
