I heard a clatter on the roof, I wondered what it was and thought for a while. All of a sudden I heard a thwop.... by the fire place my brother and I ran from my room to check if everything was okay. I turned the corner into the living room and saw a man is a red suit, he looked jolly and had a big round belly. We thought Santa heard us gasping at the sight of seeing him!
Afterwards we watched Santa eat the cookies and drink the milk, he laid our presents under the tree and after that he went up the chimney with a shimmy. My brother went to sleep, but I couldn't sleep over the thought that I just saw Santa. My little mind didn't know what to think, did Santa even leave us any presents or not? Maybe it's because we watched him in our living room and he thought we were bad kids, I didn't want anyone to think we were bad especially me! Even though, i'm only ten it could hurt my college record. That takes a lot of brains for a kid to say that.
It is now 8:00 a.m. Christmas morning I could barely sleep! I woke up before everyone else, I went into the kitchen and made some hot chocolate and watched t.v. until 10:30. My parents and my brother woke up and I tore open all my presents I could find. But of course, there was pictures to be taken and songs to sing and presents to give. After we opened all of our presents my mom took me outside, could you guess what it was?
It was a horse, can you believe it? A beautiful dark and black horse. It was the best present a girl could ever have I loved him so much. I brushed him, and hugged him, and pet him all day I couldn't ask for anything better. My family and I went back inside and ate Christmas dinner and laughed and talked about our fantastic day. I hope I have another Christmas as special as this one!
