Chapter 2:Fire In My Heart

🔥Natsu POV🔥:

Me, Lucy and Happy came back from a three day job and it was exhausting. "Happy you totally ruined the job," I said. "WHAT!!", Happy yelled. " No I didn't Natsu, you were the one who scared all the costumers away with your fire!" "It's not like they weren't scared all ready when they saw our emblems,"said Lucy. "Hey Lucy," I said with a deep voice. "Yea?", she called back. I walked up to her slowly. Each step I toke she got worried and slowly back away, but then I grabbed her arm and pulled her closer to me. "Uh," said Lucy," What are you doing?"

🗝Lucy's POV🗝:

As Natsu grabbed my arm I wanted to walk away and pull him away, but I thought he was just joking like he always does. His hand still on my arm and I'm kind of confused. His other hand touches my chin and lifts it up to his face. Now I really was about to freak.

"What is this about?", I asked. He starts to smile with his head down. Eventually we don't say anything and by now the whole guild is looking at us. "Do you like me Lucy?", he finally says. "Of course I do," I say back. He starts to grin again. "I like all my guild mates." "No Lucy," he says with a little disappointment. "Do you like me?" I gasped and looked at him. Was he serious?

Before I could say anything he said," I can't believe you fell for that Lucy. I was just joking." He started laughing but I was serious. I started to tear up, but I held them back. I tried to play it of and laugh with him, but I couldn't. I walked away and went to go sit by Mira.

"Are you ok Lucy?", Mira asked. " Yeah I'm fine," I said. "It was a joke right. No need to take anything serious." I did take it serious and very personal. I felt hurt, but was not going to show it.

I was just joking around with Lucy. I was hoping she didn't take it seriously. We are friends. I do like her though, that's why I said I was kidding. I didn't want her to know. At least not yet. She will be fine. She's Lucy!
