{ Rey } location ; millenium falcon, outer rim
As we approach The Resistance fleet, I come to the realisation that approaching could be highly dangerous. The First Order are firing at the fleet, however, The Resistance is not hesitating to retaliate. I head into the cockpit, where Chewy is, hearing him grunt when he sees me enter. He says I should take the other control, so I follow his instructions.
Gripping the control wheel, I begin helping Chewy with the directions towards the fleet. The Millenium Falcon, due to its near-obsolete-state, shakes whilst we fly towards them as if we were running over rocks. My gaze shifts focus, setting my eyes on the infamous First Order base — The Supremacy Dreadnought.
It seems ten times larger than The Resistance fleet, which sends a cold shiver down my spine. My eyes remain fixed on the monstrous ship, my heart heavy in my chest as I realise Kylo is probably commanding the attack. He knows what he is doing is wrong, but is too deep into Snoke's control to realise.
In that instant, one of the laser beams coming from The Supremacy travels in our direction. Time momentarily freezes before a loud bang resonates through my ears, knocking me off the ground.
Chewbacca's grunts wake me up several moments later, though his state of distress brings panic to my core. Chewy has lost control of the ship, but so have I. Everything around me spins, not metaphorically, as I try reaching for the control wheel. The Millenium Falcon continues to spin from the blow, the screams from Chewy, R2 and myself disrupting the silence of space. It seems as if the docking ring has been damaged. If I don't put out the fire myself, the ship won't last longer than ten minutes.
Letting out a cry, I force my weight towards the cockpit access corridor, in the direction of the docking ring. Chewy growls at me, asking me where the hell I'm going. Pushing past the rubble with heavy pants, I make my way down the corridors, banging my head against the walls as I approach.
"Chewy! Gain control of the wheel! We will spin for the rest of eternity if we don't!" I scream, gripping the handle of the door that leads to the docking ring. Chewy yells back, saying he's grasped it.
Sighing of relief, I force myself onto the wall nearest to the door, the ship beginning to gain its control once again. I grab the fire extinguisher from the compartment, rushing back towards the door to the docking ring. With the press of the button, I unlock the door, the ashes from the fire making me cough immediately. I grip the extinguisher, putting out the flames hastily. All that remains is the damage from the blow, and the blackened state of the walls and floor.
"Chewy! I put it out!" I yell, my breaths ragged from the adrenaline. I run back towards the cockpit, ready to fight back. But the instant I enter the cockpit, Chewy's screams catch my attention. I turn my gaze towards the two ships, my eyes widening with shock once I realise The Supremacy is a few dozen miles away from our ship.
