"It would be better if she answered herself," my heart drops to my stomach, I don't want to lie to Felix AND the doctor "But, like you said she is in a lot of pain and she probably doesn't want to be straining her brain in her condition."
Felix nods approvingly "Ask away." He winks at me. Why is he being so nice?
"Okay," replies the doctor "so what's her name?"
"Lisa." He answers, but throughout the asnswer he's smiling at me.
"What a lovely name, but what is her full name?" Oh god. I can't tell the truth people will see into it. But like I said, I'm not fond of the idea of lying to a medical professional. Wait, they don't have a record of me, I've never been to this hospital.
"Lisa Price." I lie, quickly. Thr doctor pulls out a tablet from his coat's inner pocket. And he starts tapping the screen.
"Ever been to this hospital ?" He says with suspicion.
"Nope." I reply truthfully.
"Ok, we will get your guardians to make you a medical account. Where are they?" He says, no longer deducing whether I'm lying or not. I look to Felix with my best "puppy eyes". He rolls his eyes slightly, then he directs his attention to the doctor again.
"Apperentely, she ran away from her parents." He says, seeming strangely sad. Its probably just an act.
"Is this true?" The doctor looks at me with sympathetic eyes.
"Unfortunately." I say, bursting into fake tears. I would've made a great actress.
"Aww, poor girl." The doctor says patting my shoulder lighlty. He dissapears from the room, but I cab see his shadow through the window in the door. He's scanning his tablet again.
"Its ok, Its ok." Felix says in a soothing voice. I blubber into my pillow, leaving puddles of salty water.
